Norfolk Cottage @ Twenty-Two on Mill Park comfortably sleeps four adults and two children.

This is a fully equipped and self contained guest cottage situated in the beautiful, tranquil and upmarket neighbourhood of Mill Park Port Elizabeth, one of Port Elizabeth's oldest and best loved suburbs.

Norfolk Cottage has its own private entrance and secure off street parking behind remote control gate. Guests will be provided with remote controls upon arrival so that they can come and go as they please.

This unit also boasts its own private patio and barbecue area. The kitchen is fully operational with a microwave oven, mini convection oven, toaster, induction cooker and large fridge as well as a Nespresso coffee maker.

Norfolk Cottage nestles beneath the most beautiful Norfolk Pine Tree (and quite possibly the oldest in Mill Park) and the cottage is set in a large park like garden where one can sit and relax while listening to the sounds of the birds.

This beautifully renovated unit consists of one extra large living area with open plan granite counter kitchen. It has 2.5 bedrooms with one bedroom having an additional small connected sleeping area (sleeper couch) for children should the need arise. It leads out onto a paved barbecue area in a beautifully landscaped garden. This unit can accommodate 6 but is also perfectly suited for solo guests, couples and families of four. Business travellers will also be very comfortable in this unit.

Come and enjoy our beautiful neighbourhood and the ease of access to all that Port Elizabeth and its surrounds offers. We are close to the airport, cricket grounds, sports stadium, major hospitals, the large shopping centre of Greenacres and a top 18 hole golf course is across the road from our property. Our never ending strip of beachfront is just a 10 minute drive (uber or hired car) away from our property and the ecclectic restaurant hub of Richmond Hill is a quick 5 minute drive away. Just a 45 minute drive away is the well known Addo elephant park and we are the last stop on the world renowned Garden Route drive from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.

Our home is ideally situated to all that Port Elizabeth offers. The 18 hole Port Elizabeth Golf Course is on our doorstep. Mill Park is one of Port Elizabeth's most accessible and central neighbourhoods. Our beautiful beachfront is a short drive away and Addo Elephant park just 45 minutes away by car. Or simply take a stroll in our neighbourhood to see the character homes and beautiful greenery. Greenacres Shopping Centre and Richmond Hill are just 4 to 5 minutes away by car and we are also very close to the two top hospitals of Port Elizabeth, St George's Hospital and Greenacres Hospital. The airport is just a 10 minute drive away. We have an abundance of board games on offer and any children who visit will enjoy kicking a ball in our beautiful, large garden. Should guests have any special requests or needs, we are at hand to assist in any way that we can. Fridges are stocked daily with delicious continental breakfast offerings.

Peaceful Retreat

The property is well situated in a lovely part of Port Elizabeth, the owner was very helpful and made our stay a pleasure. The cottage is tastefully furnished, well maintained and fitted out with most of the items you would need to make your stay comfortable.

Continental breakfast is provided and cleaning is carried out daily - we did not require this and the owner very graciously left us to our own devices for the two remaining days of our stay.

The cottage is ideal for two couples or a family with youngish children, there is one bathroom which may pose challenges if there are four or more people, but this was the only minor glitch we encountered and it did not negatively impact on our stay.

I would certainly recommend the cottage to anyone traveling to Port Elizabeth due to the comfort level of the cottage, its very central location and the gracious hospitality of the owner.
