About Carla Smith
I love helping visitors arrange for a wonderful Bandon vacation, with the right house, and with the option for preferred rates at Bandon Crossings Golf Course. We've been renting vacation homes to visitors since 2003, and find it very rewarding. We have lived in Eugene for over 30 years, and love escaping to beautiful Bandon Beach.
Carla Smith purchased this House in 2012
Why Carla Smith chose Bandon
We love that this house is so close to the ocean, and the views are just amazing. We're down near the water, and its a great quiet area.

A great place for a family get together.
This is a great place with excellent spaces in it. Love the location.
WONDERFUL...my friend who went with us (Sandy ) has stayed
there 3 times before...so she knew the house well
I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, and pleased Sandy was able to return and show you around.
Great Location on Bandon Beach
Close to beach and within walking distance of town. Only drawback is there is a fog horn that sounds every 30 seconds. White noise machine or fan works well. Beds were comfortable and cottage was well appointed
Bandon Dunes House
This is a great beach house. The view is incredible. Easy walk to beach access trail and town. Lots of space for family to be together comfortably. Kitchen well equipped.
Great views, quite neighborhood, easy access to the beach. Walking distance to the bay front. What more do you need. My family had a great time.
We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you can return.
Perfect Place to Play
Three couples and two dogs had a wonderful time for 5 days at Bandon Dunes House. Upstairs has a remarkable view of the ocean, huge rocks, and birds galore. Fog horn did not disturb, but added a little ocean ambiance. Plenty of room for everyone to have a little privacy when needed but cozy familyroom when partying. Easy, level, short walk to beach. You could walk to Old Towne Bandon but really a tad too far for most us to walk. Few minutes to drive. Had a couple of small problems first day. Carla had us in contact with their handyman and he was on the phone with us in minutes ready to come help. Really appreciated the promptness of help.
I'm pleased you enjoyed the house and location (I don't mind the fog horn either, but it's a good idea to let people know its there. I also drive rather than walk to Old Town!
Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and art galleries. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area, golfing at the nearby golf courses. This oceanfront home is a perfect way to enjoy the area.
Bandon is 5 miles south of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort with its world famous golf courses, and 5 miles north of Bandon Crossings Golf Course, a GOLF Magazine's Top Ten new course for 2007. It is a great value and also offers carts. While highly ranked, it is a friendly option, with practice area, lessons, golf school, and a special family program.
It is also about half hour drive from the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
Bandon is located on Highway 101, in the south coast region of Oregon.
