It was our home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

Joseph was very helpful when we called him and said that we were lost, while looking for his home. Walking to the ferry and places to eat on Main St was very easy. We loved the comfort, quietness, cleanliness and location of this Hyannis home. Thank you again Joseph.

Lovely spot in Cape Cod

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent a week at this lovely place in Hyannis and have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Joseph was a great host from the moment we contacted him to the very end of our stay and the house itself is beautiful! Very tastefully decorated, comfy and clean. And the location can’t be beat. It is just a few blocks from the wonderful shops and dining on Main St and a short walk to the harbor and the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. And the central location in Cape Cod makes scenic drives to lovely coastal towns like Provincetown enjoyable and easy day trips. And although the house is close to the many fun things to do in the main area of town we always felt that we had complete quiet and privacy and could never tell that there were neighbors right next door. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful Cape Cod coastal town.

MY 4 WEEK 5 STAR STAY!

  • 5 of 5

I just returned from a 4 week stay at Joseph's house in Hyannis. I retired from Marriott 3 years ago and am pleased to recommend 18 Chase Street as a five star home, with a five star owner! Every great review you read here before mine is true...the home is clean, has all the amenities (my personal favorites were a great washer and dryer, and 3 individual a/c units for living room, and each of the two bedrooms). Joseph could not have been nicer (example...he upgraded the cable tv package for me within 24 hours of my request).

You're close to everything (groceries, ferries, Main Street, etc) ...the beds, the shower, the gas grill are all wonderful. There is a reason 18 Chase gets so many five star reviews...my 4 weeks were outstanding!

Really nice property with a city vibe

  • 5 of 5

18 Chase had a perfect location, a quiet side street but a one block walk to Main Street and a short stroll to the harbor area. For someone that has never been to the Cape, Hyannis has a central location which makes day trips possible.

So many rentals seem to have been furnished with hand-me-downs, not here, the furnishings could not have been nicer with great attention to detail. The house had been gutted and remodeled so everything seemed new and clean. As with all house of the style the staircase to the second floor is steep, could be a issue if you had a physical limitation. A private yard with a patio and grill rounded off a really nice property.

Joseph the owner was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive when we had a question.

Planning our next vacation..18 Chase Hyannis MA!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed on the Cape before but never had the experience at a VRBO as this time. My wife's expectation of a home away is to be CLEAN (1), homey, roomy, and a well stocked kitchen (pans, etc.). My expectation is convenience! This home is walking distance to JFK Museum, at least 15 restaurants, beautiful downtown, port where the ferry boats leave for Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and more! Both of us were pleased! Joseph, the owner, is a phone call away for any questions you may have about the home or island. We had a party of 4 adults and an 10 year old with all the room we needed! This home made our Cape Cod vacation complete! Thank you Joseph! Rob, Atlanta

Excellent place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week. This house served us very well as a home-base as we explored Cape Cod and enjoyed the many great beaches in the area. It's very neat, clean, and renovated from top to bottom. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And the proximity to Main St in Hyannis cannot be beaten, it's a very short walk to all of the great shops and restaurants on Main St.

We would absolutely consider renting this house again on future visits to the Cape.
