Enchanting a full five stars
We loved the whole cabin experience. The weather was great. It was quiet, isolated and there was plenty of room even though we didn't need all of it. Missy (our miniature dachshund) was happy though she didn't know what to think about the deer. She even enjoyed going out on the pontoon boat. A very great getaway with a lot of nature, there were birds in the bird bath every morning, deer in the yard and lane and I loved the Loons.
Cabin is beautiful!
We had a great stay. The new owner is updating the cabin for comfort and function while still maintaining the integrity of the 1940's cabin. The owner, Brad, is really easy to work with in all areas of booking, staying, etc. We had a fun time on the lake, the lot is beautiful. We will definitely stay at this location again.
We used every inch and loved it!! The house is just as gorgeous as the pictures!! Brad was a great host and has truly thought of everything you could need!! Kids enjoyed so much they wanted it booked for next year!
Beautiful rustic cabin. We had a large group of 9 adults and a child. Cabin was furnished with all the things you would need for a relaxing week. Pontoon was a great bonus. Was able to get my mom and dad out for a ride around the lake which they enjoyed very much. Us girls also got a couple of days of just floating on floaties in middle of lake tied to pontoon also. We also took advantage of kayaks and paddle board. Brad had lots of different sizes of life jackets (which looked like new)so you don't need to bring any with you. We used all the beds and everybody said they slept great. If you're an early riser the beds on porch are great as you see a beautiful sunrise. Got a couple of great pics of them. Caught ourselves some great size crappies too. Had enough for a meal and to take some home with us too. Only issue we had was with the beads. Found lots of beads on floor inside so had to keep eye on baby so she didn't put in mouth. We would highly recommend this cabin to everybody.
We had a wonderful time at the Jordahl cabin! We loved the peacefulness of the cabin!
Everything you read and see about the cabin becomes a wonderful reality when you get there! The cabin is so cozy and has everything you need...just bring food! It has incredible lake access, pontoon, kayaks, paddle boards, outdoor furniture, and a fire pit. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock, fishing, and meals outside on the patio. In the evenings we enjoyed area restaurants and a fire back at the cabin. We truly wanted to relax and we couldn't have picked a better place than the Jordahl cabin! It was a memorable 30th wedding Anniversary!! We have already shared with friends & family about this charming lake cabin and hope to get back there in the future!
4th of July vacation
We had a great time during our stay at Sullivan Lake over the 4th of July. The owner has done a great job of remodeling/renovating this beautiful cabin. Lots of toys, both for the water and land, are available to keep busy. Hard to beat catching the sunrise on a glass smooth lake sitting in a kayak! The pontoon boat was an extra bonus for taking lazy rides around the lake and for swimming out in the middle. Loons were vocal, and the eagles made their rounds of the lake several times. Nothing missing from the kitchen. We would definitely return - unfortunately it's already rented for the 4th of July 2018 so get your reservations in early!
