Saint-Denis-d'Oléron on Rue Emile Glaudon

This Charataise house has an optimal location and sleeps five people. It has two bedrooms: one with a comfortable 160-cm double bed and another with three 90-cm single beds. There is also a living room with two leather couches, a bathroom housing a washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen with new appliances — an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a glass-ceramic hob, an extractor fan, a dishwasher, etc. It is brand new, work finished in May 2015, and ideally located for all activities.

It is a 5-minute walk from the market (open year round), a similar distance to the fishing harbour, and 30 m from the most beautiful beach: Boirie dotted with cabins that adorn that front of all the postcards. The fenced 380-sq.m plot has a barbecue, aluminium garden furniture, and deck chairs on a 16-sq.m wooden terrace on an interior patio not visible from outside.

You can rent bicycles for € 25 / week for adults and € 15 for children.

An interior decorator tastefully decorated the house using high-quality fabrics and welcoming materials. The linen and bathroom linen is € 10 per person.

You can also use the private beach hut for € 30 / week.

This is a perfect setting for relaxation. Discover the incomparable natural surroundings and Oléron's traditional villages on offer as you travel along the island's cycle paths. In addition, you can enjoy the range of village activities, such as the market, beach, fishing, fishing from the shore, cycling, boules, tennis, volleyball, pleasure, and jet skiing.

Why Carine chose Saint-Denis-d'Oléron

A lover of island life, as a child Carine spent her summers here with her family and has since helped her husband discover it too. Their children now spend their whole summer here fishing, on the beach, or on their bicycles. There is a wide range of activities to suit young, old, hikers, and adventurers.

What makes this house unique

The market town is always growing towards Saint-Denis and is the entrance to the main shops and services. These include. a bakery, restaurant, a café, a pharmacy, tobacconist, the town hall, a post office, etc less than two minutes' walk away making your holidays an ease, something I believe essential. The leisure activities are also nearby (beaches, the harbour, cycle paths, tennis, a boules and volleyball court, a media library, etc.There is something for all tastes and all ages.

The village has the island's largest variety of activities...the sailing club and the sparklingly clean, modern marina are the perfect place to stroll or try water sports. The wonderful beaches in Boirie are family-friendly, supervised, and featured on postcards due to their brightly coloured cabins. Along with the wild coast, these beaches are a delight for children and teenagers depending on their tastes.

The house is near the cycle paths connecting to different places of interest on the island.

Nice small property close to the beach

Property had good security gates and a lovely private terrace not overlooked by any other property. There was also a grassy front garden but with little shade. When the door between the loo and the kitchen was closed it was impossible to fully open the fridge door which was difficult sometimes. Extra cost for linens and towels. Nicely furnished and very clean.

Une maison très charmante et bien équipée - seul bémol: le wifi et la télé ne marchaient pas toujours.

Carine est très aimable et s'occupe de tout.

La plage - très propre et idéale pour les petits enfants - et tous les commerces nécessaires sont à proximité.

mooie locatie op een mooi fietseiland

woning zeer goed gelegen voor een fietsvakantie ; alle infrastructuur (winkels,markt elke dag,bakker,apotheek,...)is op 5 minuten te voet bereikbaar.

Un vrai petit paradis cette maison avec sa terrasse extérieure. Tout pour un super repos à 5 minutes à pied de la plage et du centre ville.

une petite maison bien agréable dans un village plein de charme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Comme le temps était doux nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la terrasse (que l'on peut couvrir en cas de soleil ou de pluie). L'appartement est entièrement rénové et très joliment meublé. Tout y est prévu pour passer un séjour agréable et sans soucis. La région est superbe et nous l'avons parcourue à pied et à vélo.

une seule remarque : le prix pour la location des vélos est élevé alors qu'ils ne sont pas spécialement en bon état et que nous avons eu du mal à les régler.
