Loved everything about the place. Charming home!
My group and I were in D.C. for the Army 10-miler and we're all not too familiar with D.C. What was a frantic search for a place to house all of us ended up being very easy. We were also lucky since it happened to be in walking distance of the Expo center where we were to pick up our bibs. The house looked smaller from the outside than it looked in the picture, but once inside it was get open and spacious. Seven of us spent time lounging comfortably downstairs. Upstairs is as described. We had five people sleep upstairs, but downstairs there's enough space for a full size air mattress and if you're not too tall the couch would be another option for sleeping. We ordered pasta and ate at the house before the night before the race. The place is so comfortable we had no issues just lounging, especially after the race. Having only one shower was not an issue for my group. We are accustomed to short showers and all 7, one night 8, were able to take showers in under an hour. Parking wasn't an issue, we only had two cars. There didn't seem to be an issue of space on the streets. If there was anything that I thought negative it was my very heavy footed friend who seems to be unable to control his stomping while walking around upstairs. The second floor has wood flooring, so expect some noise from people walking. There's much more I can elaborate on, but overall I can say that we all had a very pleasant stay!
