Overview

Front Range Colorado House Rental Photos and Description

House with 3 Bedrooms (+1 extra option), 2 Baths, Steam Shower, Hiking & More

Must be at least 21 years of age to book.

Base Rates (holiday surcharges may apply):

$375/weeknight and $400/weekend night ($2200/week) for up to 8 people. For more than 8 people (up to 12 people), there is an additional fee of $40/night per person.

GUESTS WITH PETS: Potty-trained, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the house with a fee of $40/animal per stay, plus a $500 refundable pet deposit.

SMOKING PERMITTED ON BALCONY & OUTSIDE THE HOUSE ONLY

PARTIES: Under certain circumstances we will be able to accommodate a party with more than 12 people, so please inquire! Note that we charge a $150 party fee to compensate us for the extra clean-up efforts and wear-and-tear on the house.

Please Note: This property was affected by the fall 2013 flooding in Boulder. Though the house itself is fully restored and in perfect working condition with various upgrades, the downstairs and surrounding property will not look exactly as pictured. The interior layout, furniture, materials and flooring are the same or better than what is currently pictured. The exterior is more of a work in progress with vegetation and greenery in the process of being restored - though functional and enjoyable all the same! Feel free to contact us for more details.

Our house is the perfect home away from home for those who want the best of both worlds - a quiet and comfortable getaway close to the mountains, yet only a few minutes away from downtown Boulder fun.

This round house built in the '70s has been recently fully remodeled and modernized and now includes brand new appliances and amenities.

In the spring, you can enjoy the irises and daffodils that grow by the creek, the summer brings on the best for grilling and relaxing on the grapevine shaded balcony, the fall brings about currants and other edible berries along with turning leaves, and the winter snows create a quite, warm and cozy retreat.

We have 3 bedrooms in the house each with a queen/double bed:

*The Master bedroom features a shoji or japanese rice paper sliding door between the bedroom and closet, and a shared bathroom (w/ steam shower). It also has its own private garden and patio, perfect for a quiet morning coffee.

*The additional rooms include closets and individual entrances

*There is a fold-out couch and a daybed that provide 2 extra beds

~ We also have a detached room a few paces away from the main house with a king size bed. Ideal for larger groups! ~

The upstairs floor plan is bright and open. It has an island/breakfast bar that separates the kitchen from the living area (which features a gorgeous antique wood burning stove).

Awesome river!

  • 5 of 5

I highly this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. It's close enough to Boulder to be convenient, but located in a scenic, natural area. The house itself has a great kitchen and a comfortable atmosphere. The best feature though was the fantastic 2nd floor deck overlooking the river, which made a great place to have dinner and relax. I can still hear the rushing water now! The owners were very responsive and professional as well. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Cozy and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I were here for a guys weekend just to hang out. We went to a couple different breweries around Fort Collins, Longmont, and Boulder. This was a perfect place to come back to and wind down in the evening. The assistant (Avalon, I believe is her name) was very responsive on communications and very accommodating. The indoor accommodations were perfect to get your rest, but most of the time we were at the cabin we spent our time outside. The deck is beautiful and the landscape work was outstanding. Made sitting around and talking very enjoyable.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a place to chill, whether that's for the whole weekend or just during the nights away from all the various attractions of the surrounding areas.

Superb Location

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our 3 day stay at this property. The house provided a location for our family to gather and celebrate a UC Graduation. Ample parking, well stocked kitchen and great games on site. We played Jenga at the big dining table and had a ball.

Beautiful house at the edge of the canyon

  • 5 of 5

This was a very great property. It's location at the mouth of the canyon is ideal: it's close to Boulder and the Front Range, but you can zip up the canyon really easily. The house itself is a bit smaller than it appears in pictures, but that's ok. It's comfortable, open, has a great kitchen, lots of natural light, and a great porch. Overall it's hard to beat this place! Thanks again, David!

We had a great time at this property and David was very accommodating. Very good customer service with and willing to help us in any way. The property was well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the hiking and beauty the area offered. We would recommend this home to others to enjoy. Joyce and Jack

Unique home on Left hand creek

  • 5 of 5

We had a nice stay at this home. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house because it was a wedding weekend. The kitchen is well appointed with high-end appliances. The creek behind the house created a nice relaxing setting especially for morning coffee. David was extremely accommodating with our many changes in our reservation status as to the number of nights and the need of the extra bedroom. He also was attentive to the small fixes we needed in the house. i.e.. lightbulbs and cell phone signal boosters. FYI cell phone coverage is very spotty to none unless you are with ATT. Wireless worked well; a previous reviewer mentioned it was slow, but we didn't find that to be the case. Layout of the home is unusual with all bedrooms on the ground floor and living space upstairs. The house has been totally redone after the flooding of the creek and the wood appointments are beautiful. The AC is a swamp cooler which runs rather loudly and does not keep up with 95 degree weather. We would love to be there in the winter and use the beautiful cast iron stoves.

Owner's Response: We have a cell phone booster for AT&T phones only, which gives a 5-bar signal. We also have a new Wifi extender that provides super high speed internet in the round house and extra room. There is also a landline available for outgoing & incoming calls, if you do not have an AT&T cell phone.

We're located 6 miles north of Boulder, at the foot of the mountains. There are many great areas to hike, and small old towns to visit just up the canyon (Lefthand Canyon). One of my personal favorites is hiking from Brainard Lake up to Blue Lake in Roosevelt National Forest.

Another Boulder favorite is the Farmer's market (Sat. 8am-2pm; Wed. 4pm-8pm). Enjoy some delicious food, locally roasted coffee, and great produce.
