The spacious home has plenty of room for friends and family, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Cook up a fantastic meal in the well-appointed Chef's kitchen -- served in the skylit dining room (seats 14).

Relaxation comes with comfort -- enjoy central air for the occasional muggy summer day, watch a movie on the large flatscreen tv, or warm up by the fieldstone fireplace or in the hot tub.

Please ask about dogs. While we had chocolate labs, we have found that other dogs may or may not well in the cabin. We usually do not rent to folks with pets but can be persuaded. There will certainly not be any other kinds of pets (cats, birds, snakes, etc.) allowed under any circumstances. If we agree to a dog, there would be an additional $250.00 security deposit required that would be refundable afterwards assuming no damage caused by your dog. This is a non-smoking property. All smoking must be outside and preferably in the yard away from the house. Ashtrays are provided.

Clean, cozy, and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

This was out second time coming here and the group is already planning the third trip. The home is beautiful and well kept and situated just far enough “away from it all” for that authentic Maine experience. The owner was very responsive to small issues we had (wifi access) and pleasant to deal with. This is a great destination summer or winter as theres lots to do in the area. We’ll be back for sure.

Magical cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

I recently finished up at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and a few of us from the program had a post-graduation retreat at this cabin. It was the perfect place to relax, reminisce, play games, and laugh. The space was cozy and warm and we had such a wonderful time. I appreciate Scott and his family sharing this home with us. Perfect weekend!

wonderful cabin

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in this beautiful cabin. Everything we could possibly want was provided. Scott was quick to respond and very helpful throughout the booking process, making the booking process very straightforward.

The photos do not do this cabin justice, it really is a joy. I would imagine it is perfect for all seasons; we were fortunate enough to have snowfall during our weekend break which really made the cabin quite magical.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Hi Scott,

We enjoyed your cabin and had a great time there! We're giving the overall rating 5 stars BUT, one thing that we wished we knew about ahead of time was that the dishwasher was broken and you were already planning on replacing it. Although we didn't mind washing all of our dishes 'manually', some forewarning would have been appreciated since we spent some fretful moments wondering if we were doing something wrong when running it or if we were the ones who broke it. Otherwise, it was a terrific weekend and thank you for that!

Owner's Response: Gina, thanks for your comments. So you know, I only learned about the problem days before your arrival and spent considerable time and effort to get a repair person in prior to your arrival. Regrettably he was not able to fix it and we decided to replace it literally the day before your arrival. Naturally that was not able to be done before your visit. Sorry again for the inconvenience and thanks for the reminder to communicate proactively about this. Best, Scott

Finally, a house that lives up to its description!

A beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. It was hard to find the motivation to get up from the rocking chairs on the front porch and go into Ogunquit!
