Wonderful Quiet Oasis

  • 5 of 5

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August and we cannot say enough good things about the place. It is far enough off the main roads to be private and peaceful but yet nearby to everything you might want to do in the area. We went for a hike in a different park every day, swam at some fabulous beaches and stopped at many great wineries.

The apartment is a studio but it is very large. It is very clean and well maintained. It comes well stocked with everything you need to make yourself a fabulous breakfast. Although technically it is not a full kitchen as there is no stove/oven, there is almost everything you could think of and we certainly had no trouble preparing all our meals there. There is a bbq out back as well as a nice seating area and a firepit you can use if there is no ban.

Len and Lorraine are very nice people. They are helpful and friendly and happy to give advice and suggestions but also provide plenty of privacy. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

To say this property is a hidden gem is an understatement. Tucked away between lake country and Vernon, you arrive and are struck instantly by the tranquility and calm of the area. The suite is a nice size, with everything you need at your finger tips but it's the stunning yard, the fire pit and barbecue that truly make this place an oasis. Getting to sit out and enjoy the Okanagan summer evenings is something spectacular, especially because we were there right at the end of the persieds so the shooting stars were incredible. I can't recommend this place enough. You can't go wrong and won't be disappointed.

Amazing stay!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived just after check in time and everything was ready to go. The managing couple, Len & Lorraine, were very easy to deal with and a pleasure to talk to. The fridge had more than enough supplies for our two night stay; much more than e even expected. With two small children it was greatly appreciated! We had all the amenities we needed including towels, bedding, cable, wifi, cooking equipment, etc. The property is beautifully kept and we had a huge patio and bbq to use as well. A deer and three fawns would regularly walk through the property for our viewing pleasure. We were there for a wedding @ 50th parralel winery and we're only 2 min away. We are about 15 min from Gray monk. Over all great stay, we will definitely return in the future!

Fabulous Break!

  • 5 of 5

Spent 3 nights at this lovely quiet hide-away. Great place to come back to and relax after a busy day checking out the many different activities in the Okanagan area. Very clean suite with everything you could think of for preparing your own meals (including a BBQ on an awesome patio). Food supplied for breakfasts was plentiful and fresh. Len was an awesome host - helpful but leaving you to your privacy too. There's a beach close by as well as several wineries. Went to movie at the Starlight Drive-In Theatre at Enderby. The Station BBQ Smokehouse in Vernon has awesome food - best ribs we've ever had. We would definitely come again but stay longer. Maybe take up golfing as there is a beautiful golf course close by as well.
