We are Seattle-ites raising a young son, and are excited to have the chance to introduce people to our fair city.
Our favorite things to do include going to live music performances, eating at many of Seattle's amazing restaurants, and cooking up our own special meals at home.
Having a child has introduced us to many of the kid-friendly activities in the city, but we like to stay on top of the many other cultural and arts/entertainment goings-on in town.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
We LOVE LOVE LOVE to walk around our city. Whether you consider yourself an urban hiker, or prefer a low-key stroll through a neighborhood, walking in the city is one of our favorite things to do when we're here. We love going to see live music performances - whether it is a show at the Crocodile Cafe, a classical performance at Benaroya Hall, or catching a jazz show at Jazz Alley or The Triple Door.
The Pike Place Market is, of course, one of the main tourist attractions in town, but it is such an important part of what makes Seattle Seattle, AND it is an amazing place to buy or just taste some wonderful food, wine, and all kinds of special treats.
If you have time, take your pick of any of Seattle's vibrant neighborhoods and discover the distinct personalities of each of them.
This property couldn't have been better. It's location was ideal for walking to the most popular tourist attractions, as well as being convenient to public transportation. The condo was great. It was clean and very well stocked with any of the basics needed to make our stay as hassle free as desired. Kay was very helpful and available for questions. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Belltown was a great central spot during our stay. We walked nearly everywhere downtown from the Condo. The unit had everything we needed. I appreciated the air conditioner in the living room since it got warm at times. Overall a nice place to stay. My only complaint was that the couch wasn't very comfortable but we didn't spend a lot of time in the living room so it didn't affect our stay much.
We have stayed here several times in the past few years. The accomations are great - super clean, close to everything downtown Seattle has to offer and check in is easy. Kay, the owner, is quick to respond to any questions. So many different restaurants to pick from in the near vicinity, we have yet to try them all. Rocco's has the best pizza and an interesting beer menu. We would definitely recommend staying in this condo If you are visiting Seattle.
Wonderful apartment in a really great location with all the amenities a traveling family could need (pack n play, high chair, washer and dryer). My only complaint is that whoever cleaned prior to our arrival missed a floor mat in the bathroom with tons of human hair balls. Otherwise I would have given this property 5 stars. I would definitely stay again!
The location of the condo is great. We parked our car on Saturday when we arrived and never moved again until we left the following Saturday when we departed. The lighting is very poor. One rickety lamp is provided in the living area. We requested additional lampS, and one lamp was delivered which helped, but we did move a lamp from the bedroom into the living area to provide additional lighting. In general, the cleanliness and pride of ownership was an issue for us. Some nice artwork/pictures on the walls, proper lighting, updated t.v. in the living area and an additional t.v. in the bedroom and a deep cleaning would improve the comfort of the condo. We stay in alot of rental properties, and this was the most expensive, most sparsely decorated condo we have stayed at. In addition, we had to request check in instructions from the owner multiple times. After 13 hours on the road, and arrival at the condo, three different numbers were used to contact the owners to gain access to the property while sitting in an alley since parking was not available. That was pretty frustrating.
Great stay. It was a little tight with us and our teenage boy and girl, but we made it work. The furniture is useful, but not particularly comfortable. On the other hand proximity is so close to all main attractions we didn't stay in the apartment much. The apartment provides all basic necessities and it was nice to have the pool for the rainy day afternoon.
Seattle Aquarium, Seattle Symphony/Benaroya Hall, Indoor Rock Climbing, Kite surfing, Wine tasting
