Children: They have their own pools, play area at the Corcovada Club & Restaurant where there is another Pool, are close to many beautiful beaches and will love the many theme parks which are easily accessed from this property - Zoo Marine, Aqua Land and many more. All sports activities are catered for and our agents will take care of suggestions and advice.

Mini train - this takes you to the Old Town/ Beach in 1 stop from the Apartment. No long walks and it arrives right beside the Escallators that deposit you onto the beach, and back up. Who said Albufeira was hilly? Not any more. The Day ticket allows you to ride on it as often as you like - so go down to the beach in the mornings, back for dressing up, down for nightlife until 03.00 hrs. when the train stops.

Theme Parks abound. See our Agent or visit the nearby Tourist Office.

Walks, Nature, Safaris: Walking in the Algarve is a beautiful experience, along Coastlines particularly but also inland. Tourist offices all over the Algarve have maps and suggestions.

You can also book 4 wheel drive safari day trips into the Cork forests, small farms for lunch, local craft centres and many things which would remain hidden from the casual tourist.

Bird life is rich and varied and there are large numbers of areas where you can see great concentrations.

From the very large Danish designed Kitchen to the beautifully tiled bathrooms(ceiling to floors), stunning wooden floors, ample Bedroom space and wardrobes, central vacuum system & electric window shutters - this Apartment is a joy to holiday in. Its central location means that beaches, shops, restaurants, sky sports pubs and night-life - are all a short walk away. Yet when you are in the Complex - you will enjoy enjoy the get away from it all atmosphere. The Apartments' balconies receive sunshine early morning ( Bedrooms) and beautiful mid afternoon sun until dusk on its' Lounge balcony.

Algarve '08

The property was immaculate and catered for all your needs.Lots of space and great storage for beach "stuff".The balcony was disappointing because it was a bit small,and the air con didn't work which meant for me the property for our week was not 5 star.

Booking was great and we were greeted at the airport and the apartment.The beach was a bit of a trek especially in the heat,but once there it was lovely.I would reccomend this apartment to a friend.The strip was a bit commercial for my liking but the children loved the hustle and bustle.Myself and my husband fell in love with the old town which is were we would stay if we went again.

Owner's Response: The airconditioning was delayed under technical planning laws for this new development - it is now fully commissioned. The old town is also a favourite place for us to visit - but because it is crowded we prefer the sanctuary provided by Corcovada when you need to get away from it all. We thank Donna for all her positive comments.

Great location and excellent set up

The two bed apartment (42-2-2D) is set in a quiet area of Albufeira but less than a 10 minute walk from "the strip" and less than 20 minutes from the Oura beach.

The apartment contains two bedrooms, one of which is en suite, and an additional bathroom. Also a nicely appointed kitchen, living room and small terrace.

The shared swimming pool on the complex is of a more than sufficient size and there were plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day.

All in all a perfect spot for our holiday at a great price - wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Excellent Apartment and location

This is my third visit to this complex and second time booking with Paul.

I had another amazing week can't fault the apartment or location love Corcovada and looking to book soon for next year .

lovely modern apartment

We stayed in the sunny retreat 2 bedroom apartment which is lovely and modern. Had everything included and very clean. Electric blinds for the prefect night sleep. The locate is great literally everything was walking distance. The strip is about 5-7min walk. Beach is about 20min walk although we had access to the building's swimming pool which was lovely and clean.

I would definitely stay here again & recommend this apartment. Very good value for money. Thank you very much!

Great Family Friendly Place

The condo is clean and in a great location! It is extremely spacious and convenient. The manager was extremely helpful and always available! My kids loved the pool! We couldn't have had a better experience!

Sunny Retreat

My husband, three young children and I spent a week in Sunny Retreat at the end of August this year. We had a wonderful holiday. The complex was beautiful and well maintained by the management company. The pool area was ideal for our needs. There were plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and the choice of two pools was ideal. However, communal toilet facilities would have been an added bonus, instead of having the return to the apartment. The security was excellent with key access needed for every entrance in addition to an intercom system.

The apartment itself was perfect for us. The electric shutters were superb for the children to nap in darkness during the day and the occasional sleep-in some mornings! The location of the apartment complex was just 10 minutes walk from all the major amenities but there were some smaller restaurants and shops just across the road.

The owner of the apartment was more than helpful prior to our holiday, providing a cot, high chair and stroller for our use. In addition there were also some inflatable toys for the pool , which took the hassle out of having to buy some.

I would highly recommend this property to families seeking a nice quiet relaxing holiday away in the sun.

The 'Strip', Tourist mini train, restaurants, bars, night clubs, taxi rank are all within a 2 minute walk of the Apartment.

The Old Town & its beach is only a 1 stop mini train ride away, with escallators onto beach, great for kids and parents.

Albufeira is centred in the middle of the 'Algarve' so all Coastal towns and tourist resorts are within an hours drive on the Coastal motorway. This motorway and roads to Villamoura/ Vale de Lobo for all the major Golf Courses are accessed from the 'Globe Roundabout' beside Corcovada complex.

The largest shopping centre on the Algarve, close to Guia, is a 10 minute drive.

Cape St Vincent, west Coast surfing, Lagos, & other historical towns, the natural Parks of western Algarve are all easily accessed.

The east coast, Tavira, Cabanas, beautiful islands and beaches of the Ria Formosa, & Seville, Spain are all easily accessed as well ( Border is 1 hour drive).

For the real Algarve inland - Monchique, Alte,Silves, etc are easily accessed.

Other Activities: Excellent surfing on west coast, under 1hr on motorway.

Golf: This property lies close to the main road into Villamoura & Vale de Lobo, which allows you to access all the great courses of the Central Algarve. But no course on the Algarve is more than 1 hours drive because of Albufeiras geographical central position to the whole Algarve region. So it is an ideal location for Golfers.
