Who said Albufeira was hilly? Not any more. The Day ticket allows you to ride on it as often as you like - so go down to the beach in the mornings, back for dressing up, down for nightlife until 03.00 hrs. when the train stops.

Walks, Nature, Safaris: Walking in the Algarve is a beautiful experience, along Coastlines particularly but also inland. Tourist offices all over the Algarve have maps and suggestions.

Wonderful holiday

Group of four girls - stayed for a week. Apartment spotlessly clean and PJ and Marta very helpful in arranging arrival and transfers etc. Five minutes walk to restaurants/bars and a little train which goes directly to the beach and old town. A thoroughly enjoyable week!

Amazing stay, loved every minute!

We traveled as a party of 6 girls in our early 20's and stayed in Paul's Sunny Haven apartment for one week. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, from the transfers arranged to and from the airport, to the quality and location of the apartment. The entire booking process ran smoothly with no problems, and Paul even organised our transfers beforehand with Yellowfish transfers, a company which I couldn't recommend enough, they were brilliant! Once we arrived at the apartment we were met by Marta, who showed us around and helped us set up Wifi, she was easy to get hold of and was always there if we had a problem, for example our Wifi did not work to begin with, so she came round straightaway and sorted it for us. The apartment was by far the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed in, extremely clean and spacious, with handy appliances such as a washing machine and dishwasher. The balcony had amazing views over Albufeira and the pool area was very clean and always had sun loungers free. Location wise, the apartment was less than a five minute walk to the strip, which was lively and full of a variety of people, from families to couples to young groups of people like us, and had many different bars and restaurants. The Oura beach was only a 15-20 minute walk and was down a hill at the bottom of the strip. Albufeira Old Town was beautiful and is definitely worth a visit or two, it is approximately 30-40 minute walk, however there is a taxi rank at the beginning of the strip where taxis are 5-6 euro, there is also a train which takes you from the strip to the old town for 4 euro return, and is a lovely ride out. We visited Roberto's on the Corcovada complex many times for lunch and found it inceredibly reasonable and the food lovely! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paul's apartment, one week was not enough we could've done a lot longer! We would definitely return and could not recommend booking an apartment through Paul enough! Thanks so much.

Home From Home

The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the strip in the New Town. It is furnished to a very high standard with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 dining / living room and a large kitchen (there's also free wifi in the apartment). The kitchen has everything you could possible need. Paul (the owner) arranged the private transfer to and from Faro airport and everything was on time and couldn't have gone any smoother.

We went early in the season so it was warm rather than hot but found Albufeira a nice destination. Food / drink was very reasonable. 5 minutes away from the apartments is a small train down to the old town where we spent a few great days down at the beach and had a few meals out.

Back to the apartment, there is a swimming pool about 50 yards from the apartment (which is on the 2nd floor) and a 6 hole crazy golf (which is free) around 200 yards away near the bar / cafe which is on the complex.

There is some noise from a road but you soon get used to this and the quality of the apartment more than make up for that. There are black out shutters on the window that are great and overall I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone.

Parque da Corcovada, Albufeira

The Penthouse in Block 34 was just as it appears on the website, the finish in the penthouse was second to none, easily the best place I have ever stayed. Jose greeted us and was extremely helpful throughout our stay, wtih the added bonus that we could eat at his Corcovada Club.

The Parque is situated very close to the strip and the centre of the new town. I had a pleasant walk to the old town, although the second time we all went out as a group we took the little train, you just have to do it when you are on holiday.

I would highly recommend the Corcovada penthouse to anyone and our group of 10 met every day on the balcony to eat and socialise, it was like being in the Waltons! On the downside it was depressing having to leave it all behind and come home!

Top Notch in Albufiera

This is an excellently maintained and well serviced property which is ideally located just at the start of the main resort. This gives you the option of eating nearby in the many keenly priced restaurants or taking a cab (€4) down to the livlier centre of Albufiera and old harbour with its larger range of restaurants, shops and music bars. We also made good use of the Corcovada Club with it's swimming pool, crazy golf and games it's a good spot to relax for a few hrs and being able to eat in the snack / bar restaurant is a great bonus. The Club could be pushed a bit more to get clients to use it by giving them a voucher for a free introductionary drink or some other type of inducement. The main beach is within walking distance and has great facilities, we also discovered a lovely beach (Maria Luisa) which is only 5 / 10 mins drive away. For anyone with kids the nearby Zoo Marine dolphin / water park makes for an excellent day out.

So overall an apartment maintained to a very high standard in a good location,
