We bought our first home in Ogunquit 16 years ago when our daughter was 4 years old. She loved the trolleys and the tidal pools. Her sister learned how to ride a tricycle in Ogunquit and now is learning to surf at Footbridge Beach. We have many fond memories of vacations in Ogunquit and we hope you will too.
Our first home in Ogunquit was in a neighborhood that was congested and noisy. Our home on Rebecca Rd has the space, quiet and privacy that we love after a long day at the beach.
Noreen and Linda made sure that all of our needs were met. They had so many recommendations that we were not able to do everything-so we will need to go back. The house felt like home. It was very private yet close to lots of fun. Thank you Noreen and Linda for sharing your home! Beth Bob Mike & Sue
Our family had a wonderful time! Location was the best! Had all the comforts of home! Would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a relaxing vacation! All of the previous comments are exactly what we experienced!
We loved staying at this house. It was quiet and roomy, with all of the amenities we were looking for (grill, air conditioning, yard and walk to the beach). We were there with three little kids, so it's a great place for families. The walk to the beach was a bit long for little legs, but we dropped people and beach items off at the beach and then parked back at the house. Great vacation!
The owner was fantastic to work with! She was very prompt with emails and offered lots of information about the area. The house was neat and clean and offered plenty of space for our entire family (which included two small active children). It took about 15 mins to walk to the beach and about 10 mins to walk to the trolley stop at the end of the road. The house had plenty of yard space and a great porch and deck to spend time outdoors and dry off beach gear. This was our first time renting a property in Ogunquit and we lucked out on this house. If you are looking for a house with plenty of space both inside and out with reasonable proximity to the beach and trolley-then this is the place for you!
We were extremely pleased with our stay in this home. The owner has great customer service, responding to emails promptly and offering suggestions for local events, dinning and activities. The house is located within walking distance to the beach. We could easily ride our bikes to the center of town. This was our first trip to Maine and we plan to return regularly! Thanks for a great week:)
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood so that you can get away from the crowds and relax. But when you want to go out you can walk to the trolley stop and get into downtown Ogunquit. The house is located within an easy walk to four restaurants: Ogunquit's Best Italian Restaurant - Angelina's, Beach Plum Farm for steamers and lobster, Napoli's for gourmet pizza or sit outside at the fire pit with a drink at Beachfire.
The Ogunquit Playhouse is an incredible gem. Check out performance schedules and get your tickets online before you arrive.
At Perkins Cove there are many types of boat trips - the trip to Nubble is a great one as the Nubble Lighthouse is the quintessential New England lighthouse.
