Why Carol Garfinkle chose Massachusetts

We purchased this property in the spring 2012 after vactioning in the area for years. This is our favorite area with a real Cape feel and close to beach and National Seashore. We found a great old home and did a complete renovation inside and out and purchased all new furniture. An amazingly peaceful home inside and out with great views of the water from inside and on the decks.

There are good rentals and then there's this place. What a treasure! Everything you could need provided in beautiful accommodations less than 5 minutes to the beach. We had a fantastic time and we can't wait to go back!!!

This is undeniably one of the best homes on the Cape! Carol and Drew you both were wonderful and pay so much attention to detail.

Everything on our checklist:

1. Great Water Views: check

2. Minutes from the Beach and catching the sunsets on Campground Beach: check

3. S'mores by the firepit: check

4. Outdoor Shower: check

5. Steamed lobster and steamed native corn / grilled veggies on the front deck: check

6. Beautiful spaces throughout the home with views everywhere: check

7. A comfy hammock out back: check

Not to mention easy drives to Wellfleet , the art galleries, the SunBird Food truck for the best fish tacos I have ever eaten , bicycling to Marconi Beach and Nauset Beach, catching the Hyline Ferry for a day on Martha's Vineyard.

Needless to say this was a wonderful getaway and your home could not be lovelier!

Newly renovated and beautiful. Well furnished, very nice beds to easily accommodate two families with a nice view from the ground floor and a spectacular view from the master bedroom. Two blocks from the beach, and owners provide nice beach gear and a wagon to haul stuff (or exhausted kids) up the hill home. We had coffee on the master balcony from zero-gravity recliners while looking at the sea, ate outside on the lovely deck. Owners couldn't be nicer. We will be back.

Stunning and quiet Cape getaway

  • 5 of 5

We loved every bit of our stay. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures promised. And the view from the deck - phenomenal! We had many dinners out on the deck, complete with the most gorgeous Cape sunsets. The house is perfectly located next to Campground Beach - such an easy walk. And we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet and private it felt. We hope to visit again - thank you for making our week on the Cape a wonderful one!

Absolutely beautiful home; supreme location!

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting summers on the Cape for the past 25 years and this is most definitely favorite home ever!!!

Our group is a mix of ages and cultures and everyone was thrilled! We had friends from Cyprus and Italy this year and they could not believe how gorgeous the setting and home was.

We will be renting again next summer for 2 weeks.

The house is private, beautifully furnished, and very bright and sunny throughout; expansive views of the ocean from both down and upstairs.

The interior design lends itself to great group gatherings as well as intimate space when desired.

The kitchen is fabulous for cooperative meal preparation and very well stocked.

The beach is literally a 3 min walk and the adjoining neighborhoods are fantastic for morning runs and walks.

The owners are immediately responsive to any questions or concerns.

Stores and restaurants nearby are great; steamers, lobsters, corn on the beach in the early evening a must.

We were there for Hurricane Arthur and it was magnificent from inside this cozy home!
