It is a really great house to stay in. I only wish I had more time to spend in the house. I was there for my wedding and was busy running around that weekend. I would love to go back and just spend time relaxing in the house and visiting the nearby town. I love that there were several rooms to hangout it. Each room has plenty of places to sit. There was a living room, sunroom, dining room and my favorite the family room. It has a bar, fireplace and plenty of comfortable places to sit. And the owner, Anita was super nice and very accommodating.
Anita's place is such a warm and friendly place. She went out of her way to get her house reserved for us on a last minute reservation. Her house had all the amenities, blankets, and towels to make you feel at home. My fiancé used the house with her bridesmaids to get ready at the day of since we were getting married at a venue not too far down the road. The place feels like home and has all the amenities you would need. All you have to do is bring yourself and her place will take care of the rest. She did a great job in contacting us and passing the information required to stay at the house in a very fast, friendly, and efficient manner.
We spent a week during Christmas at this location and we had the most amazing time. The view from the house was simply breathtaking and I spent a ton of time just basking in the sun in the picturesque environment. The home had extremely welcoming vibe. Anita had kept a New Year's gift for us, along with a bottle of wine, which we truly appreciated. There were tons of towels and every little detail was taken care of. We fell in love with the place and it was difficult for us to leave. We created some amazing memories at this place and wish to come back soon. It was very spacious and we had ample room for a group of 8 people. We spent a ton of time in the sun-room and the backyard facing down the valley.
The Ranch was the perfect spot for our two night stay and a gathering after the opening of my art show at the Fallbrook Art Center. Anita was very easy to communicate with and the house was in great shape for our arrival. The views are fantastic and the layout made it very flexible for our needs. The large screen TV was well used during the Soccer World Cup. The description and photos are accurate but it is even nicer than we had expected. I would definitely recommend the Ranch for a small group getaway. Thank you Anita, Ron
We stayed at the Ranch for a family reunion over the July 4th weekend. We had 6 adults and 4 kids (all less than 7) and we had ample space. I picked the Ranch over a hotel downtown because I liked the idea that we could all spend time together in a relaxed country environment. We spent 6 nights at the Ranch and it was awesome!! You could sense the pride the owners have in their property. Anita said it best - It is a home she rents and not a rental home!! The views from the ranch are beautiful and the sunroom is just gorgeous.. We visited the Zoo, the vineyards at Temecula, Legoland and the beaches at Oceanside and Coronado. Our drive to downtown was under an hour and Legoland and the Oceanside beach was much closer.
Anita was also very prompt in answering all my questions and providing information on the property.. If we were to visit the San Diego area again, Anita would be on the top of our list..
This past weekend we were guests at The Ranch for my brother's wedding at Los Willows. We chose to stay at The Ranch instead of a hotel as we wanted to give the kids some freedom and not have them stuck in a one room. It worked out perfectly! We had 3 families staying together and never felt crowded as the house has lots of living space. The kids loved exploring the grounds and the adults loved the views all around. We were about 10-15 minutes from all the activities for the weekend; golfing at Pala Mesa, rehearsal dinner at Bistro Brothers, the wedding at Los Willows and we even had some time to wonder downtown for a frozen yogurt. Anita was an absolute pleasure to talk to right from the start. She was very quick to respond to my many questions. She even left us some nice treats upon arrival. They were greatly appreciated after the long drive down. :) I highly recommend staying at The Ranch.
