After your stay in this oceanfront three-bedroom Mendocino vacation rental, you will never be able to capture the sunset quite like what you will capture here. With the most relaxed and quiet area, you will be able to enjoy your next vacation in every way imaginable. This home sets up on a bluff, which allows for a fantastic view. Take a walk on the near by beaches, watch the beautiful sunset with open windows, or observe the varied wildlife just outside your door.
Located a few minute walk from the waterfront, you can walk barefoot on the beach while taking in the summer breeze. If the water isn't for you, there is the beautiful Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens close by! If you have some time and are up for a quick drive, Fort Bragg - as well as the Mendocino Village - are just a few minutes down the road.
The open floor plan gives this quaint home a more spacious feel - where you can enjoy your time with the ones you love! The kitchen, with its stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, can allow ever aspiring cook of the family to treat everyone to a home cooked meal. Feel free to sit at the dining room table, which seats four or overlook the ocean in the front room.
Step into a separate living room where you will find a sleeper sofa and an area to watch television, or check your email with the wireless Internet!
There are two king suites, both different, yet both immaculate. One has an amazing ocean view bathroom with a jacuzzi for two and a separate walk-in shower! The other suite has sliding doors taking you to its private deck with the ocean views you can only dream of. The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and although does not have ocean views, it does overlook the lovely front garden.
Craving a nice burger? No worries, have the grill master flip some burgers on the gas barbecue outside. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city life, televisions, and cell phones, grab a book off of the well-stocked shelf and escape to another land.
You will not need a filter when taking a photo of the sunset in this Northern California Coast vacation rental, which offers a little something for everyone!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!
Sunset Point has been a special part of our family for over forty years. It is a unique place to enjoy cool coastal breezes and beautiful surroundings. Once you enter the grounds, nature surrounds you with the sounds and sights of crashing waves, trees, gardens and wildlife. It is a place to enjoy the moment and quality time with friends and family. As a child and an adult, I have wonderful memories of Sunset Point and all it has to offer. My family and I currently live in Puerto Rico, and still make the trip each year to Sunset Point. We enjoy the nature, arts, festivals, markets, and restaurants the Mendocino coast provides. Our three children love to roam, investigate and let their imaginations soar. Sunset Point is a gem. Enjoy your stay.
This is one of our favorite places to stay on the north coast. The home is beautiful and comfortable, with unbeatable ocean views. It is close enough to town to make getting food easy, but it is very private and feels secluded. Lovely!

We absolutely loved this spot. We wanted a place with a view of the ocean, this property not only had a view but a view from multiple rooms and direct access. We grabbed lunch at Django's, dinner at Wild Fish, and cooked the rest of the nights in which was successful with the large kitchen. The rooms are also very spacious. We would recommend staying here!
We decided to head up the coast for New Years and wanted a spot with a view to the ocean. Not only did this location have a view, but direct access! You can see the view from multiple rooms in the house. Just amazing. It has a large kitchen for cooking and a small fireplace which really set the mood. We grabbed dinner at Wild Fish, a small dining restaurant, in Mendocino. We went on multiple walks around the area as well. I would highly recommend this place!
Beautiful views, great area, wonderful house and amenities.
The views from the house are amazing!! The only thing that bothered me was the price per night. We were quoted $350. 00 per night. It actually came out closer to $500. 00 a night, once taxes, booking fees, cleaning fees and other incidentals are addded. It was a beautiful pice of property. Next time I would split cost with another couple.
