Exquisite 2400 sq ft home with modern amenities and homey feeling. Antique heart pine flooring throughout. Wonderful open living area with living room (46 inch flat screen above fireplace mantel), dining area and gourmet kitchen (6 burner, 2 oven DCS stove w/ built in griddle, Sub-zero refrigerator, dishwasher, trash compactor, copper accents, Indian sandstone countertops and full pantry). First floor half bath and laundry room. First floor master suite, with private bath, deck (with four person hot tub) and walk in closet. Second floor has a cozy den area (w/ 1 additional twin bed & queen sized pull out couch), full bath and three lovely bedrooms (Bedroom 1 sleeps two - 1 queen bed, Bedroom 2 sleeps two - 1 queen bed, Bedroom 3 sleeps four - 2 twin beds and 1 double bed). Large back deck (off dining), swing set, hammock, fire pit, flower gardens and large, custom outside shower. Linens and towels included at no additional cost.
Best friends and partners from way back when we were tweens, our paths took lots of different turns before we decided that you can't deny what has been right in front of you all along and finally married eachother in 2010. We enjoy working together and traveling (both with eachother and with our large family). When our children were grown and the last one moved out several years back, we decided to continue to stay here in our Eastham home for most of the year so that we could enjoy its size, which holds everyone during the holidays. However, we are very busy working during the summer months and thought it would be a great opportunity to rent it out to fine folks like you for ten weeks a year. We used to stay at one of our smaller properties but now they too are occupied by our children and grandchildren, so we have an apartment in the basement with it's own entrance that we occupy during the summer months. We want our renters to know that we have complete respect for the fact that while they are here, they are on vacation (and all that implies). We respect your need for privacy, your desire to relax and unwind +/or let loose. There is more than amply insulation/sound barrier between the basement and main floor. It is so important to us that you have a WONDERFUL time while you are here! Many of our renters return year after year and we are happy to come to know them as friends :) We can be as invisible or visible as you would like during your stay. As we said, our goal is for you to enjoy your time here and we will do whatever it takes to assist.

We bought this property in 1995 but tore the previous structure down and rebuilt this new home in 2004. It is avery comfortable and welcoming home, with modern amenities, that we designed ourselves by drawing the footprint in the sand at Cooks Brook beach (right at the end of our road). Every detail is oriented to accommodate families and entertaining, from the open concept living area to the kid friendly back yard!
This was a great home that accommodated our large family without any difficulty. Our kids loved the trampoline, hammock and large back yard. The kitchen was awesome. The overall house and grounds were immaculate. The owners were great. We cannot wait to return next year. Thank you Kristin and Don.

We are longstanding renters in Eastham and Orleans, and have always felt lucky in the homes we rented. This time was among the very best! Kristin the owner bent over backwards to have the house well equipped. It was beautifully clean and bright, fresh new sheets and towels, fans in every room. Fortunately the weather was hot but not muggy so the fans and windows provided lovely breezes - and air conditioning was not missed. The kitchen stove (6 burner - double oven) was a treat for my family of gourmet cooks, and we nine of us managed to live comfortably together for one of the weeks. We could walk to the bay beach, but the bike ride or quick car ride to Nauset Lighthouse beach was my passion, each morning at 7AM. What wascreened-in porch would have been lovely, but we managed with the screen door open and enjoying the breeze that way. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the outdoor picnic table and patio as much as we would have liked. That's it! All else, including a nice hammock in the beautiful back yard was much enjoyed by all of us.
Beautiful location within walking distance of Cooks Brook Beach. Oh so close to ocean beaches, churches, Chequessett Neck (9 hole golf course overlooking Wellfleet Harbor), driving range, mini-golf, bike rentals, whale watches, wine vinyard tour, cinemas, drive-in movie theater, restaurants, arcade, surfing lessons, fitness center, shopping and much more!.
