Enjoy quaint and quiet Little Gasparilla Island, a bridgeless, roadless barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico located between Sarasota and Naples. There are sandy paths and golf cart trails on the island. There are no cars, stores, or restaurants!

Gulf Street stretches from the bay to the gulf, and our house is almost midway. From the dock you’ll have a short walk to our stilt home with its large deck for relaxing. A dock cart is provided for getting your supplies to the house. The beach is a short walk from the house in the opposite direction! There is a beach access directly at the end of the lane. Enjoy nature, 7 miles of beautiful, uncrowded beaches, and a relaxing, tropical setting!

The 3 bedroom, 2 bath house has a king-sized bed and 2 twin beds upstairs, along with a bathroom, living area and kitchen.

The downstairs bedroom suite is not accessible from upstairs, so it truly offers privacy! The suite has a private entrance with a deck that leads to a spacious bedroom with a king bed, a private bathroom, and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV.

Relax in the hammock, read or visit with friends and family on the spacious upstairs deck!

The kitchen has a toaster, microwave, coffee bean grinder, coffee maker, and blender. All linens are provided, as well as a supply of basic paper and storage items. A cooler, beach chairs and towels, an umbrella and beach toys are provided. Pack light!

Leave your car at the marina, and take a 10 minute ride via the water taxi, or bring your boat and use our dock! Transportation is not necessary on Little Gasparilla Island; however golf cart rental is available through a separate party, if you don't want to explore on foot.

The beach is beautiful. Great shells and petrified sharks' teeth can be found. If you walk 1.75 miles south, you'll end up at the southernmost tip of the island. A mile north of our access is Don Pedro State Park. You can walk further north (about 4 miles) to the northern tip of the island.

Fish from the dock or the beach, and if you have a boat, you are surrounded by some of Florida's greatest fishing spots. It's not unusual to see dolphins, gopher tortoises, osprey, wading birds, manatees, and bald eagles.

Enjoy gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!

Bring your groceries, sunscreen, fishing gear, hat, sunglasses and the books you've been meaning to read, and get ready for a unique, relaxing experience!

We love Gulf Street with its single-family homes and privacy. The lane connects the dock on the bayside to the beach on the Gulf. It is a narrow part of the island.

What makes this house unique

Our guests have always enjoyed the tropical view from the deck, and we have had many state the downstairs private suite is ideal for traveling couples/families. After a warm day in the sun or out on the water, it is a relaxing, quiet 'home' in which to return.

We had a wonderful time in this well appointed and welcoming home. A view to enjoy from the porch, dock for boat and fishing, a short walk to the beach, exactly what we wanted. Thank you for sharing your Island home. We will be back as soon as we can.

We've been to the island numerous times, and always seek out SeaFanz first. Owners are thoughtful and responsive. The house is a perfect location between the boat dock and beach. The house is well supplied, and easy to stay in! Thanks for a great time in your rental home as always, we'll be back!

My family and I enjoyed a great week at Seafanz. We love the island, simple, unpretentious and adventurous. The cottage is clean, well cared for and comfortable. The new kitchen was a real treat for my wife to spend time having fun cooking meals. We dragged our little boat down from New Jersey, so we were able to get to and from the island easily, as well as an amazing day trip to Caya Costa, fishing, sight seeing. The owners attentive . When I shared a few minor items with them, such as the need for a new beach umbrella, better tires for the beach cart and some protruding nails on the community dock, the owners not only drove down and went out to the island to address these minor items but extended me a personal phone call thanking me for letting them know about them . The rental fee is fair and affordable for us. The improvements and the attention Seafanz is getting make you look forward to next year. We only wished we had 2 weeks to spend, with all the non stop driving we had to do from NJ. We love the feel of this place and we would certainly recommend it, but we don't recommend it for spring break, hopefully that's our week !

Already planning my next stay!

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was perfect!

The walk from the dock to the house was brief and made for an easy unload. The house is about halfway between the beach and dock. The house was well kept and was plenty spacious for the six of us. I was particularly pleased with the open kitchen, made it possible for several of us to be in there at once. After spending half the day out on the beach, I found the hammock on the upstairs porch rather useful for a siesta. Couldn't stay away from the beach for long though-- so many sharks' teeth and shells to collect! After a long day in the sun, it was nice to go back to a comfortable bed.

If I can give any advice, it is to PACK LIGHT. We were advised to do this by the owners and couldn't be more grateful we did. Almost everything but clothes and food were already provided there. What a great vacation!
