House was beautiful and very clean. Amazing view. We had 6 adults and a ton of little kids, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was outfitted very well, and we enjoyed some great meals. We enjoyed a lot of UP sights in the area, including the Thomas Rock overlook, multiple waterfalls, Marquette Children's Museum, and Pictured Rocks as we headed out of town. Bring your own laundry soap and dishwashing pods; we had to hit the store.
I found out that I love a rocky beach! So much cleaner than dragging sand everywhere with you. We swam, skipped rocks, canoed. So much fun.
The property met all our expectations. We would stay here again for sure, and we might. Beautiful lot but the front yard could have used a lot of attention, but that really didn't damper our experience. The canoe on site was great. We canoed across the bay and the pictured rocks are awesome over there!
THE HOUSE MORE THAN ADVERTISED. GREAT VIEW OF THE LAKE. VERY COZY WITH ALL THE FIREPLACES. THE OWNERS WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. WOULD STAY AT THIS PROPERTY AGAIN WITH NO HESITATION.
Loved our stay here. The house was well kept and beautifully decorated. Waking up to the view of the bay - doesn't get any better. About 30 minutes from town so that you can get everything that you need to come back and cut off from the world for a few days. Days were quiet, and at night, the sky here was amazing. I've never seen so many stars in my life. Michael was very easy to work with. We look forward to visiting again! :)
The house was quite wonderful for a winter retreat. Beautiful to look out on to the lake and site in the enclosed porch for morning coffee.
It was i bit far away from things, but well worth the scenery.
Instruction on how to get the hot tub out of economy mode would of been helpful.
Two families fit perfectly in this home, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The sun porch was a welcome spot and extra "living space" that we could retreat to for some quiet or to hang and play games. We loved the big dining table that accommodated all of us (for more games and awesome meals). When we booked this home, were looking for a quiet spot to decompress with family for New Years, and this property fit the bill from the beautifully appointed home to the setting to the amenities (hot tub and steam room were winners). Many thanks to the owners for sharing their property with us. We look forward to a return visit!
