Beachfront condo that is steps away from the beach with amazing ocean views and minutes from the world famous Wildwood boardwalk and historic Cape May. This is a newly renovated condo with a casual beach decor. Features include 2 flat screen TV's with Blu-ray/DVD players, cable TV, full size refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner cook top, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, pots, pans, dishware, glassware, flatware, ect. There is a wall AC/heater unit in the bedroom and portable AC unit and ceiling fan in the living room.There is plenty of seating in the living room and dining area. There's plenty of room to sleep 5 comfortably with a full/queen sleeper sofa in the living room, a queen size bed and a twin over full bunk bed in the bedroom. Tile floor in living room, bathroom and kitchen. Pergo flooring in the bedroom. No carpeting in our condo. Our unit is #217 located on the 2nd floor.
The condo complex includes On-site professional property management and maintenance staff and 2 heated pools with kiddie pools and two sun decks which allow you to enjoy the views of the beach while you eat a meal, read a book or get a tan. The complex also offers coin operated laundry, elevator, 6 outdoor patio grills, WiFi (separate fee) and reserved parking (we have an end spot so all size vehicles will fit). Tenants are responsible for bringing their own bed linens and towels (contacts for local linen rental companies are available upon request). Our unit only rents for the full week Saturday-to-Saturday. Please note that at least one guest in a rental party must be at least 25 years old.
Our family of 5 - 3 kids including 1 year old twins, and 9 year old requiring home cooked meals because of allergies, arrived on Sunday only to find out that the stove top is not working - the only reason we picked a condo instead of a hotel.
After calling Bob I found out that he knew about it since Saturday. No phone call beforehand to inform about the issue.
He said he will try to send someone over asap. No one came.
Monday morning (11am) I txt Bob threatening to leave if issue not address within 3 hours. Not being able to feed your kids is not something I was imagining when we booked this condo. Over the phone I was promised that the issue will be fixed very soon. Later that day Monday a 'professional' shows up trying to replace that cook top.
After over 2 hours running between condos (breaker box is in the next unit) he said that the stove top is broken and he can't get another one till Tuesday. At that point I was forced to buy small electrical appliances at a nearby Kmart just to be able to feed our kids. That helped out our situation and after being reassured issue will be fixed on Tuesday we had decided to stay.
Tuesday-'professional' shows up attempting to replace the breakers since apparently he can't get a replacement stove top. After another 2 hours, we are told nothing can be done to fix it because electrical line needed to be replaced.
I txted Bob about that and he said he is sending electricians to work on the issue on Wednesday. I don't know what was he thinking, but obviously his idea of perfect family vacation is staying in a condo where electricians open up walls to replace electric lines. I refused to allow for that to happen. Fix it on your own time.
We left Friday stressed out more than we arrived. Bob refunded the cost of the appliances only AFTER I demanded a refund. No partial refund offered for ruining our first vacation time with our twins.
There are more issues with this condo: portable AC in the living room - exhaust hose kept popping out of the window keeping the room at the cozy 95F - I had to use tape to keep it attached to the window.
Place NOT clean as other reviewers claim: dirty dishes, fridge dirty, floor dirty - spent 2 hour cleaning.
Bedroom AC full of mold - could not use at all with kids. Hair in the tiny shower. Mattress...more like plywood. Laundry next door-VERY loud.

One huge disappointment!
Location couldn't be better as you're steps from the beach. Our teenagers loved the pools, although one was closed several hours twice during the week. The unit was spacious for being a 1 bedroom and 6 of us stayed there, although it would have been better for a family of 4. One down-side was the funky moldy smell in the place, especially in the room. We bought tons of air fresheners but they just didn't work. The unit needs a dehumidifier in the bedroom and a good cleaning of the living room furniture. Some upkeep in the bedroom would help. The bunk bed is useless. The shower is so small that if you're overweight, you shouldn't stay here. Overall, it was a pretty good deal and we had a good time.
Fantastic rental. It was even better than described. 2 adults and three boys (14, 11, 8) for one week.
What we liked:
1. clean, clean, clean!
2. even the building was very clean.
3. grills were cleaned each day (!)
4. the owner even left little things that you tend to forget - bandaids, sunburn spray, even hotel shampoo!
5. great communication with the owner. very professional.
Am referring friends to this property, and will probably rent here again!
We had a great time again in this condo!! This was our second time in this unit, we stayed in others before but this one was great!! Very comfy and clean room, they thought of everything to make our stay easier! Love the lay out of this unit. Bob and Jane are great to work with!! Can't wait for next year!!
It was our first time un Wildwood Crest but not the last. We had great time and this condo was perfect. Nice and clean, we had most of our diners outside on the terrasse, bbq are great, beach is not too far, the pool was clean and refreshing, great condo for a family of 4. We loved it, see you next year. We had great communication with thé owner Bob!
Nice and clean which totally met our expectation except we wish the mattresses would be more firmed. It's in our top list if we rental a condo again in the same area.
