Guestbook comments from the manager

We really enjoyed our stay at this chalet. It was comfortable, clean, and cozy. We enjoyed the outdoor grill, Jacuzzi, and the porch swings. Would definitely recommend this chalet to others and may also consider rebooking this chalet in the future.

Fantastic Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My wife and 3 kids and I stayed in the cabin for a week and loved it. We all enjoyed the space it offered, took advantage of the full kitchen to save some money on meals and loved the views. The cabin was clean and offered plenty of decks to relax on. My one complaint was the faulty lighting in the center stairwell. Some days the lights would work and some they would not. My wife and I really enjoyed sitting on the deck at night waiting for the locals to pay a visit and they did not let us down! The drive way is steep but manageable if you take it easy. The hot tub was fantastic, however, we only used the jacuzzi tub one time because it just took soooo long to fill and by the time the water was high enough it was only cold water coming out of the tap (not a complaint, just feedback). Overall the place is wonderful, close to the city (easy drive down the mountain), fantastic views of the mountains, quit, and peaceful. We cannot wait to come back!

Amazing place

  • 5 of 5

I would stay there again, it is amazing, the view, the cabin and the location. Loved it when you make your final payment they e-mail you instructions and the name of someone that can assist you if you have any questions or problems, I had to call for a small problem and they came out and solved it right away.

My experience

  • 3 of 5

My family just returned from our vacation at Cupola Cabin. The cabin was not how I expected it to be, there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the main living room, kitchen, and bedroom. We have a toddler, so the stairs made everything a little more hectic, however she is now a pro at climbing the stairs! There were a few things broken in the cabin upon arrival, but when presented to the manager he fixed them right away. The manager of the cabin is wonderful to work with and very caring! Bears are very common at the cabin, we saw 7 total during the week we stayed, we even had a mama bear peeping in our car window, our toddler LOVED IT! I would stay at this cabin again and I would recommend this cabin to anyone without health concerns due to the stairs.

Loved the cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just got back from a 4 night stay at this cabin. My husband, myself, my parents and my 2 small children had a blast on vacation. It is minutes away from Ober Gatlinburg which was so much fun for everyone. I have absolutely no complaints. We even got to see a black bear walk right by the cabin. It was so neat! We enjoyed early mornings on the porch, the only problem was choosing which porch to sit on! :) There was plenty of space to spread out at the cabin and not feel so clammed up as you would in a hotel room. I would definitely rebook this cabin on a future vacation.

Cute cabin in mountains

  • 4 of 5

The hot tub has a low water pressure coming out of the jets that work. There is a knob missing and one that doesn't work. There was not a turntable plate in the microwave. I called about these problems but they were not resolved.

Other than this, we enjoyed staying at the cabin. The décor is cute and enjoyed swinging on the porch. It is also in a good location, just up the mountain from downtown Gatlinburg and not far from Dollywood.
