Overview

Pagosa Springs Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 bedrooms+Loft, 1 full bathrooms, sleeps 6

This place is a gem. It's a d-log structure that was both a bookstore and coffee shop in it's past life. We have recently remodeled it back into a two bedroom home with a loft, sleeping a total of six. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed made up with quality linens and blankets. (Including quilts and oversized down comforters from The Company Store!) There is a futon in the loft with a 10' foam mattress that very comfortably sleeps two more. Upstairs you will also find an office nook with a desk and basic supplies. WI-FI is on site to help you stay connected while you're away from home.

The kitchen features new cabinets, a gas range, dishwasher and all of the dishes and cookware you will need to feed your crew. We pride ourselves on a well stocked kitchen and we keep basic oils and spices on hand so that you don't have to buy a cart full of staples in order to cook delicious meals. There is also a large gas grill available for you to use.

The living room is cozy and very relaxing with a leather sectional, the most comfortable rocking chair that you will ever sit in and a flat screen television with cable. The totally remodeled bathroom features a brand new shower stall and a barn wood vanity with a vessel sink.

Through the sun soaked dining room and out the back door you will find the private hot tub, patio furniture, and the gas grill. Enjoying Southwestern Colorado's blue sky days and star filled nights (even from downtown) are a cinch from this tucked in little perch.

Can't forget to mention the two, four boot, Peet boot dryers. You'll think of us warmly when you're starting your day with dry feet and toasty toes!

We bet that you'll fall head over heels for this charming home, just as we have.

About Ohea Graham

We are long time Pagosa Springs residents and are thankful to work, play and live here. Steve has been an electrical contractor for the past 14 years and we have also remodeled and revived several downtown properties in that time. These properties have become Incredible Pagosa Vacation Rentals, which we manage together as well. Our home is just a mile and a half away from the rentals and we are always available to answer questions or handle any situations that may arise. We do our best to ensure that you enjoy Pagosa Springs as much as we do!

Ohea Graham purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Ohea Graham chose Southwestern Colorado

The primary reason that we chose this location is that it backs another rental property that we own on N 8th Street. By fixing it up we were improving our neighborhood and by having three rentals adjacent to one another we are able to offer the unique opportunity for friends and families to stay in individual homes, right next door to each other. The three adjacent rentals will sleep up to 14 and we've since added a fourth rental that sleeps 8 just one block away on N 6th Street. The owners were very quick to come address a problem with the hot tub. It was a good location and had everything we needed.

Absolutely perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent most of our honeymoon here. When we walked in I was thrilled that it was exactly as described. It had everyrhing needed kitchen wise. I was so pleased to find out there was a crock pot as well. That way I could put a roast/spaghetti or soup on to cook while we explored the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs! It was great to be able to hike all day and come home to a mostly finished meal and after the sun went down to relax our achy muscles in the hot tub under the stars. We were blessed enough to meet Ohea one afternoon. She is an absolute delight. She is very genuine....while we didn't have a single issue with the cabin I have no doubt if we did she'd be right there to help. We are already planning on coming back for our anniversary and brining family. When we come back there will be no question that we will stay here!! It was a perfect honeymoon.

Perfect Pagosa Get Away!

  • 5 of 5

This was a first visit to Pagosa Springs for me, and I relied a lot on the reviews I scoured in order to find a place. I had initially thought about staying at the hotel right downtown with the 20+ "spring" pools. So glad I chose this gem instead! I'm not into a family vacation scene with tons of kids and this cabin, although just a couple easy walking blocks from the "downtown" area, it was peaceful for us. Ohea has a couple other rentals that neighbor this house and she gave us a tour of one and it too is quite nice. It really is true, you walk in and feel like you have walked into your own place. The atmosphere is relaxed, but the amenities are abundant. We visited four nights and only cooked in on one, but everything you need is there (could use some sharpening on the kitchen knives!). It's kind of funny, but people leave behind things like flour and sugar, an assortment of spices, some folks even put the date on an item so you know how fresh it is. It seemed weird at first to be using stuff other people bought, but you just let yourself go and live in the present and accept those things as gifts! The beds were comfy, nice linens, plenty of towels. And after seeing the masses of people in the spring pools downtown, I was really happy to have my own hot tub on the back deck to relax in. We were here the first week of June, and as I said, it was peaceful, I don't know if it gets very rowdy in ski season or not. Ohea was a gracious host, very free with information about the area and just an enjoyable person.

One thing you really should do is the Hot Air Balloon ride - one of the coolest things ever! You can check them out at Rocky Mountain Balloon.

Lots of pizza joints. I can't say I found a great one. But if you want something a little more upscale than a brewery you really need to check out the Alley House Grille - superb. Ate there two nights. The Wolfe Brewing Co has some of the best spinach and artichoke dip and killer pulled pork sandwiches. A cool place, they have a big barrel of roasted peanuts to help yourself to and just crack 'em on the table and drink more beer, which they have a very nice selection.

I mentioned the Springs - I went to a place across the street for a massage and a soak. The masseuse was great, but the springs are like like miniature swimming pools and it was kind of gross, like taking a bath with other people.

Go, have a great time and book one of Ohea's properties - you won't be disappointed!

Incredible Pagosa Cabins Incredible Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I stayed at the cabin for a week getaway. It was an amazing drive from Denver through the mountains, well worth the commute through the overwhelmingly beautiful mountains and forests.

The cabin was well designed and equipped with all the necessary items needed for an enjoyable getaway without having to go to the store for minor staples to be able to cook in the well stocked kitchen. All the artwork was photography that Ohea has taken from around the area and it greatly captures the beauty of Pagosa and surrounding areas, and was a nice touch.

The hot tub is great and it felt like you were in a star globe on a clear night. So many shooting stars, a great view of the Milky Way and and even though it's next to the main road that goes through town, it was very quiet and peaceful at night. Would have been nice to have a bigger wall for additional privacy, it kind of felt like you were on display with the hanging lights on, but still very enjoyable, just a minor critique.

Perfectly located minutes from treasure falls opal lake, the hot springs downtown, and many other great scenic adventures for any skill level.

I don't know that I could return to Colorado without getting the unique experience that Pagosa and Ohea's cabins offer. Truly a great vacation, easy to book, easy to get settled in, and great communication throughout the process. Spot on and thanks for a place to call home for a most memorable vacation.

Truly unique

  • 5 of 5

The property is very unique, the decor is quirky with some really cool lighting and accessories. Very clean, fully stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed every moment, it was perfect size for myself, my wife and 2 kids. It's also centrally located to restaurants and the springs for those who prefer to walk.
