Notes:
Tishomingo, OK is the historic capitol of the Chickasaw Nation. There are several museums, great shopping, wonderful spa called Spa 211, great restaurants and several points of interests in Johnston County. On Harbert Ranch, where Cedar & Stone Bed and Breakfast is located, enjoy a private tour of the ranch, explore on your own by hiking or walking, birding, watching wildlife & cattle, fishing, rock climbing, horseback riding available, 4-wheeling optional, visit the White House of the Chickasaws in Emet, just about 8 miles away, browse through the old west movie set of Sipokni in Reagan, 8 miles NW of the cabin. There's also the National Fish Hatchery in Reagan. Visit the National Wildlife Refuge in Tish or the cold, clear, pristine Blue River at the Blue River Public Fishing & Hunting Area just a few minutes northwest of the cabin. Trout is stocked from October-March. Catfish is stocked during the summer months. Cabin rules: no smoke, no pets, no kids, no stress!

This was the perfect getaway! It was quiet, tranquil, and secluded.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was spacious and homey, with all the amenities you need. It was perfect for spending time outside on the swing by the fire, watching the cows, or sitting inside to watch a movie. The breakfast provided was delicious as well! Vicki was very helpful and accommodating to every need. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing time away from home.

Perfect place for R&R

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival to this wonderful place we were treated like royalty! Vicky went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She made sure we had everything we needed. She even brought us some homemade goodies! The cabin is beautiful and cozy. It was way to cold out for us to go explore so we just stayed in and watched movies and napped! Vicky brought us full homemade breakfast and left it on the porch. The day we left she made a full breakfast. Her cooking is out of this world. My husband and I really enjoyed visting with Luther and Vicky. We went to Ole Red, and the Blue river. Both great places to go. Will be going back. (Maybe in spring or fall)
