Enter the first floor entry to the beautiful travertine floors and full bathroom. Proceed down the hall to a king bedroom with hardwood floors, 40' flat screen TV and 2 large windows offering direct oceanfront views. Walk up the stairs to the second floor where you are greeted with unobstructed ocean views and a magnificent open floor plan. Large family room has beautiful hardwood floors, 51” flat screen TV and 10 foot high ceilings with two large glass sliders to access deck overlooking the beach. Step up to the dining room furnished with a table that comfortably seats eight with more unobstructed ocean views. Convenient half bath located off the dining and kitchen area. Kitchen has granite counter tops, a wine refrigerator, and large peninsula that you can sit and eat at or just prep dinner while watching the waves roll in. There is also a deck off of the kitchen with more beautiful ocean views and a gas grill. The third floor offers hardwood floors throughout. A large master bedroom with 2 glass sliders leading to another deck that directly looks over the ocean. Relax in bed and watch the waves or a show on the wall mounted 40” TV. You do not even need to lift your head off the pillow to watch the waves! Master bath has a beautiful travertine walk in shower with body sprays. Walk down the hall to another full bath done in marble with Jacuzzi tub/shower. The next bedroom has a queen size bed with a private deck that has ocean views as well and a 32' flat screen TV. Down the hall is a room with 1 Queen bed and a twin bunk bed with 42' flat screen TV and DVD Player, perfect for the kids! Laundry closet with full size high efficiency front load washer and dryer is also located on third floor. Off the side of our house is a very large beautiful gated garden and patio that faces the beach with an outdoor dining table for 6, 2 chaise lounges and outdoor shower.
You cannot get closer to the beach and Brigantine’s shopping than this prime location. One block walk to Pizza, Ice Cream, Grocery Store, Liquor Store, Sundries, and Smile Factory! Wawa and CVS only 4 blocks away. Walk across the street to the 'new' Laguna Grill Rum Bar for dinner or a cocktail. Atlantic City nightlife only minutes away offering spectacular casinos, fabulous entertainment, and sensational restaurants. We provide 8 beach tags, 8 beach chairs, and a beach cart. We also provide free WiFi. There is parking for one car in the garage and 2 more can fit in the driveway. We have a keyless entry, so no keys to keep track of!

We bought this home because we love the beautiful beaches of Brigantine and small town feel. We have had the opportunity to live in Brigantine as both a summer and then year round resident. Brigantine is truly a great community a wonderful town for all seasons!

Thank you Suzanne for a perfect weekend in Brigantine. Thanks again for answering all our questions immediately. The house had everything we needed and more. We will definitely look into renting again in the future should we find ourselves heading to Brigantine again.
Positives and negatives
I stayed here for a long weekend in Sept. 2017 with my husband, 10 month old daughter, my parents and brother. The house is a great size, they provide you with whatever you need for the house and beach (only one beach umbrella though, one was broken), and the location is great - near shops, small grocery store, and restaurants, and a quick 10-15 drive to AC, fantastic. However, the house could use some sprucing up, especially a paint job. There was an ant problem in the kitchen and we had to use raid which I didn’t like with my 10 month old in the house. While it’s nice that Laguna restaurant is a across the street, it’s not nice if you have babies or young children - loud bands and drunk people in the parking lot yelling and honking their horns woke my baby up a lot. Maybe that’s because Laguna Palooza was happening, but we didn’t know that was happening that weekend prior to booking. Another downside is you have to have to linens and dishes completely washed and dried before you leave, other places I stay you just need to have the dishwasher running when you leave and the linens in the dryer. I suspect the people before us did not clean the dishes as there was food bits on the plates in the cabinet and we just brought our own linens because who knows if the people before us took the long time to wash and dry them before they left. The house and location is good, but not for the price in my opinion, which is a shame because we did enjoy most parts of the house, Brigantine, and our stay. Brigantine is a lovely town and the house and location are good.
There is nothing more disappointing than receiving a poor review from a guest that did not contact you once with a concern during their stay. We have a contract with Orkin and they come every 3 months and were there the week prior to do there regular treatment and the guest did not contact me once about ants. In regards to Laguna, we are very clear in our property description that it is located next to the property which is one of the features many of our guests enjoy. Our home was just painted in April, so I am not sure what the guest is referring with that comment. In the off season we provide linens and towels at the home to try an minimize the packing needs of our weekend guests, there is not charge for this. It is very clear in the home information we send that this is not a linen service, if you choose to use them they need to be laundered before departure. It is common to wash your dishes before check-out, that is not a service our cleaning companies provides. I might also add that our weekend checkout time is 6 pm, so there is plenty of time to do so or the guest may bring their own. I will always address the concerns and needs of my guests, but please give us the courtesy to do so when you are there instead of a negative review.

This location is absolutely stellar....but..........
Let me say first of all that we enjoyed our vacation immensely. The views from the 2nd and 3rd floors are wonderful and you're a dune away from the beach. The garage is filled with many beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys (incl boogie boards) and shovels. The kitchen is well equipped and laid out. There are lots of TV's. And the owner is very quick to respond to emails. But here comes the but. On our move-in day we encountered ants on the kitchen island and counter-top. When the owner was contacted, she offered to send out Orkin. We had a 10 month old crawling all around and declined her offer. We asked for ant bait traps and she told me to buy them and she'd reimburse me. Then we found the light in the first floor shower turned off and on continually while in use. This is a small shower with shower curtain making it pretty dark. When the owner was contacted, she said she'd try to get an electrician - but that was the last we heard of that. For those renting in the future, be aware that the electrical system is in need of some TLC. One of the lights in the upstairs hallway also flips off and on the entire time the switch is on. And then there's the switch in the middle 3rd floor bedroom that works after being turned on and off 2 or 3 or 6 times. I didn't bother to tell the owner that there were no lightbulbs in the laundry closet to change out all of the burned out bulbs because I didn't want to have to go back to the store. Then there's the deck with an outlet that has no plate over it - just exposed wires. And how about the mold in the first floor bathroom? It's on the showerhead, the floor of the shower, the shower curtain AND on the ceiling around the air conditioning vent. Let me not forget the washing machine that always had fluid in the detergent drawer. I was never sure if it was just detergent tinged water or most of the actual detergent was still there after each load. But hey, the dryer was really nice! To be fair, I didn't tell the owner most of these complaints and so she had no opportunity to fix any of it. Until the shower on the first floor wouldn't turn off. That was interesting. I emailed the owner (since I was not able to find a phone #) and she did get back to me within the hour. She first tried to trouble shoot through her husband over the phone, but when it became obvious the problem was more than we didn't turn the water off, a plumber was sent out to fix the situation. Bottom line too much money for a tired house.
I'm very disappointed to receive such a poor review from a guest that openly states she did not voice these complaints to us or give us the opportunity to address many them. I would hope anyone reading this would view the many wonderful reviews of our property. I would like to take the opportunity the address each point she made. Regarding the ants, we have a yearly service contract with Orkin at the property in Brigantine, but she declined sending them out. When she contact me about the flickering light, I did reach out to a local electrician who never responded. We ended up having our electrician from home go down during the changeover, but I did email her stating I was not able to get one out during her stay. It was a lose connection, so to state our entire electrical system is in need of TLC is a bit uncalled for. I was not aware of the outlet she spoke of on the deck with exposed wires. The City of Brigantine requires rental inspections for every rental property before every season and such an opening would have caused us to fail the inspection. This cover must have come off during a prior guests stay and we will absolutely have it fixed. The mold in the first floor bathroom is the one item I'm a little confused by as the guest was upset that the cleaning service was still there when they arrived the day of check-in but was satisfied with the condition of the house. On the day of her check-out she emails me about mold in the first floor shower. The only picture she sends me is of the ceiling air vent which is not mold but the air vent was rusted and will need to be replaced with a plastic vent cover rather than a metal one with the salt air. I called the cleaning service and brought this to their attention for the change over, but if there was a mold issue I don't understand why it became an issue an hour before check-out and not during her stay. I believe she was upset about the plumbing issue the evening before, which she has every right to be, but I was happy we were able to get a plumber out on a Friday evening to replace the cartridge that went out at a bad time. As for the washing machine detergent drawer, I think she is looking for items to be dissatisfied with. We do not consider our home tired, we just had the entire exterior repainted, and we are always updating and adding. Each guest receives a welcome email through VRBO's hospitality feature and my phone number is listed. I am very responsive and make myself available to our guests.

My family really enjoyed our stay. We would surely return there which we are already discussing. The view is beautiful. The home was very comfortable and well equipped.
