We've had a fantastic week. Everything was perfect. Thank you for arranging grocery delivery for us. It really helped to get us going. Thank you for sharing your home (wish we could get one of our own...someday).
My daughter, her friend, and I had a great stay! The walk to the beach was close and easy to get to and John's Pass was just a few blocks away. The condo was very nice and in a good location. My only complaint would be that 1 extra garbage bag and 2 rolls of toilet paper are not enough for a 5 day stay with 3 people. :( I used my walmart bags as garbage bags for the last 3 days we were there because I refused to buy garbage bags on vacation! lol
Madeira bay resort amazing place to spend your vacations beautiful beaches lovely people ! Etcz I definitely recommend this Resort..
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this condo last week. Our children are 7 and 9 and naturally their main concern was the swimming pool. The pool at this condo was well maintained and never crowded. By looking at the pictures I also thought the beach and johns pass was a much further walk than what it actually was. The condo itself was well maintained, the only complaint we had was the TV would turn off randomly. Normally we don't watch much TV on vacation so we weren't too concerned about the problem. Overall, we highly recommend this unit. It's in the perfect location and has everything you'll ever need.
Our stay was fantastic. The weather was great. Great Location. We were in walking distance to most restaurants and shops. It was much better than a stuffy motel room. It was small but clean and was just enough for our needs. I stayed last year with my sisters and again this year with my husband and 20+ year old daughter. I would definitely go back again and would recommend this facility to friends and family. clean, plenty of towels and enough dishes, etc in kitchen.
Beautiful apartment in a great location, 4 adults staying there with plenty of room.
We stayed in this apartment for four nights at the end of our holiday. We were a family of four (two daughters aged 2 and 4).
Firstly the location; excellent - right across the street from a beautiful beach, and only 5 minutes walk from Johns Pass - restaurants, bars and shops aplenty.
Secondly, fantastic pool/spa - our girls loved swimming in here every morning and afternoon, heated too! For those wanting to spend all day by a pool (we were at the beach/shops for middle part of day) it looked as though it could get crowded.
My only negative would be the apartment is not entirely child friendly; i.e. there is no regular height table/chairs to eat at and we would usually eat our breakfast and at least one evening meal in our apartment. This meant we had to eat at the coffee table. If your children are older or there is only one then this wont be a problem though. Equally if you're travelling without kids, its ideal!!
Another plus point is the great view from the apartment - you have sea and beach views (albeit with some buildings I the way!).
My only other slight negative would be the traffic noise - however this at no point stopped me from sleeping, it also slowed at night and didn't start up until fairly late in the morning.
The smaller bedroom size was fine for our two little ones, and I would suggest this would be fine for an adult on their own or two kids. I wouldn't want to sleep two adults in there, it is small!!
Excellent communication from the property rental company from initial enquiry to check out.
