If you're looking for a nice change of scenery this winter, please check out our charming and affordable Woodstock, Vermont 4 bedroom house (Homeaway #3809315). Sleeps 6-8 and is close to Suicide 6, Okemo, Killington and Pico ski areas, as well as the quaint and historic village of Woodstock.
We live in the Boston area but have been coming to this Truro neighborhood for the past 20+ years. Our three children have grown up vacationing in the neighborhood, and we have met some of our closest friends on the Truro beaches (Ballston, Coast Guard and Head of the Meadow are our favorite ocean-side beaches). Sunsets are spectacular for southwest-facing homes, so when we saw the chance to own this house, we jumped at the chance. We hope you enjoy the area and experience many unforgettable memories here.
Liz, the house was great and comfy. The location perfect. I loved yoga in the morning on the deck!! My only suggestion is rather picky and small in the large scheme of things.
The coffeemaker is very leaky and messy until one gets the exact positioning correct.
Thanks for the tip about the lobster lady. I loved my chat with her. And dinner at Terra Luna was delightful. I hope you get to enjoy your wonderful home this summer. Despite the grey weather I will remember this vacation
fondly.....We were very comfortable in your vacation
home and I wish I was there right now!
From the owners: A brand new coffee maker is now at the house. Sorry about the other one...and thanks for letting us know, our future guests will definitely appreciate it !
Liz's property was wonderfully relaxing, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking for the five of us. Having a washer and dryer, plus the dishwasher, were great for our week-long stay. The house is convenient to the action of Provincetown, yet in a nice and quiet setting. The upper deck, as noted by others, provides a spectacular view of the Milky Way and Provincetown harbor. Liz is one of the most responsive house owners we've encountered in our years of renting, and we would heartily recommend this house to others, and hope to return ourselves.
Everything was just wonderful during our stay. The house is spacious and has a lot of privacy. The private beach was right down the street making it very easy to access from the home. Plus it was just a short ride to Ptown! Can't wait to visit again!!
This home was in the best location with beautiful views. Everything we needed was there! We slept 7 comfortably and there was plenty of room inside and outside to relax and hangout! Nothing can beat the beach right there at your fingertips!
The house was amazing. Everything was provided except for sheets and towels. It was a 5 minute walk to the private beach. The house fit 10 people comfortably. The 3 story deck has a great view of the ocean. The owner is very accommodating and it is a very quiet neighborhood. We would definitely vacation here again.
We have just returned from spending a lovely week at this N.Truro home. The house and it's setting is just as described; inviting, relaxed and steps from the bay. A short drive or bike ride brought us to ocean beaches and Provincetown fun. Back from our daily trips to the water every member of our three generation family had a favorite spot to relax with the decks, hammocks and ping-pong table each getting plenty of use. The bonus for me was the upper deck during the height of the Perseid meteor shower. Shooting stars viewed from the uppermost deck...delightful! Thanks Liz sharing this special spot.
This was our third time renting here and once again we had a great time. We especially enjoy sitting and enjoying the ocean breezes from the multiple decks and having meals on the patio. We love Truro as a destination and it never disappoints. The owner is a dream to work with and when we have encountered even the smallest issue, she has had it taken care of without hesitation or delay. Based on our experience, we would always consider this our first choice for renting on Cape Cod.
Gorgeous North Truro, where the sky goes on forever, and the calm and sandy bayside private beach is a 2 minute walk from your front door ! Provincetown is 5 miles away (and very accessible by bus or bike), and includes wonderful restaurants, entertainment, art galleries, shopping, recreational areas (National seashore as well as parks and playgounds) and plenty of fun ! Truro is also adjacent to Wellfleet, which is another beautiful town filled with activities for all.
Check out our other property, located right on the beach in North Truro, listing #3506195. It only accommodates two (2) but is right on the water ! (There are other cottages next door so if you are a larger party, you may find availability by renting a few cottages together).
