Waikoloa Village Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Come share the enjoyment of our home away from home in Hawaii!

Enjoy your stay at this Hawaiian plantation style villa adjacent to the King's Shops and a short walk to the scenic Anaeho'omalu Bay. The villa is located on the 3rd green of the world class Beach Course in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Get ready to unlock the door to your luxury vacation retreat.

You will walk across a marble threshold into the foyer of a beautiful custom decorated home. Looking into the living room you will see an inviting chenille sofa, large entertainment center, and walls adorned with landscapes by a local Hawaiian artist. As you walk past the koa clock, you will find a modern kitchen with rich wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.

The guest bedrooms, described as "comfortable and elegant", have queen-size beds featuring light-weight down comforters with adjacent spacious bathrooms. The open loft at the top of the stairs has a day bed with trundle and a desk for writing your postcards.

Our favorite room, the master bedroom suite looks over the well manicured bermuda grass of the 8th green, the famous King's trail, and facing the ancient Kohala Volcano. The room is styled with decor from Tommy Bahama. In the master bathroom, relax in the Jacuzzi soaking tub after a long day in the sun. Don't miss breakfast on the peaceful lanai as you watch the sunrise over Mauna Kea.

On location at Waikoloa Beach Villas, enjoy your time at the lava rock pools and spas with elevated waterfalls, peaceful sounds of local birds, or use the barbeque at the poolside picnic area. Don't forget to go shopping at the King's Shops (Louis Vitton, Tiffany, etc.) and the soon to open Queen's MarketPlace.

About James and Stacy Lynn

We both grew up on the coast of California so the beach has been part of our lives from the beginning. We were married on the island in 2002 and have been coming back together since. The Big Island has definitely become part of our life as a couple. Now, as our family has grown we continue to spend time here with our children. We enjoy all the outdoor activities from snorkling, golf, tennis, hiking and especially whale watching. We hope that you and your family will enjoy and appreciate it as much as we do. Mahalo, James and Stacy Lynn

Why James and Stacy Lynn chose Kohala Coast

We purchased our first Hawaii home in 2003 to escape our busy lives in the Bay Area. After finding out that we were expecting our first child, we decided it was time to grown our home away from home. The conveniences of the Waikoloa Beach Resort continued to fit our families needs and Waikoloa Beach Villas was the newest complex in the resort area. We still visit the island 4-5 times a year along with with friends and family. Only now, we stay for longer periods of time.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the proximity to all the amenities of the resort area. We always take a snorkel or sunset cruise with Ocean Sports right out of A-Bay. They are friendly and consistently give great service. Most of all, we love hang out on the lanai in the evening to watch our son and daughter run around.

Family trip to Hawaii

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this condo with our family, there was plenty of space for all 6 of us to spread out. My only concern is the condo is not really "fully stocked" We needed to buy toilet paper, paper towels, foil, not to mention salt/pepper plus other spices. Propane for the BBQ is not included either. This made it difficult for us and we ended up not using the BBQ. The condo has been "well loved" by guests and upon arrival first glance was very nice, now it is very nice and spacious but like I said it has been "well loved" and is in need of some clean up/repairs. The carpet is stained, the downstairs living couches, dinning chairs, and patio furniture have signs of lots of love. Quite a few of the bath towels were very used and in need of retirement. It was very humid during our stay and ceiling fans on the patio would have been fabulous....we saw that other units do have fans. Stacy was very attentive to issues with appliances and the garage door key pad when we arrived explaining those are due to be replaced soon. The key pad was replaced during our stay and the garage was wonderful to park in as the parking situation is limited if you have more than one car. The garage of full of beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella. Other than those issues our family had a wonderful time on the Big Island. The condo is in the perfect area with the pool right across the parking lot, within walking distance to the Queens, Kings Shops, the Hotels and the beach. We found Beach 69 10 min north to the left at mile marker 69. Great little spot for snorkeling!

It could have been so much better

  • 2 of 5

Our 13 night visit In July was very disappointing. All of which could have been avoided if the owners took better care of the property and used either a property manager to resolve issues, or had a handyman on call. We arrived in the evening after a 10 hour flight from the East Coast to a townhouse with the thermostat set to 86 degrees. And it was 86 degrees in the townhouse at 9:00pm. The thermostat can be accessed remotely via an app and is set up on a schedule, but we spent a miserable first night, with it taking 5 hours to bring the temperature down to a bearable 74 degrees. When we arrived the garage key pad did not work. The only way to access the garage is through a locked door at the back of the garage. I texted James and Stacy Lynn the next morning and the first reply was that we could go to Home Depot or Lowes and replace it ourselves. I replied that I was not equipped to do so, and that they needed to have someone come repair it. Over the next 12 days no one came. Each day I texted Stacy Lynn, and I was told she was attempting to have someone come out, and that it was a "minimal" inconvenience not to have garage access, and I should park in the 'unassigned' spaces. The 3 'unassigned' spaces were always full. I asked if there was a garage remote onsite that we could use since the keypad didn't work and was told no. When we returned home, I looked at reviews and in May another renter said the key pad didn't work, so the owner knew there was a problem before we arrived. If the owner is going to save money by not paying a property manager to check on the unit, it is their responsibility to have someone who in 13 days could come fix a problem. There were other issues in the upkeep: 1) the clothes washer quit working mid cycle and we had to pull it out and unplug it to reset and a constant dripping behind the washer when not in use, 2) so many bird droppings on the worn outdoor furniture cushions that we had to place towels behind our heads as to not have bird droppings next to our heads, 3) the dishwasher was not fastened to the cabinet, so you have to literally move it forward and wrestle with it to open and close it, 4) towels that were threadbare, 5) the vertical blinds on the sliding doors stick and do not slide. It is a shame, our 13 nights could have been spent in a much better environment. Until the owners decide to devote resources to the upkeep and timely resolution of any issues that arise, we would stay elsewhere.

Location, Location, Location!!!

  • 5 of 5

It took months of searching to find this perfect home for our family of 6, only 20 minutes from the airport, five minutes to beautiful A bay, around the corner to two really nice shopping centers. This house is perfect, three well appointed bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, great living space, terrific outdoor kitchen and patio. The complex is beautiful with a pool just steps away. The spacious garage was filled with beach chairs and boogie boards as well as beach toys and an umbrella. We rented scooters for a fun way to get around to all of the local stops including lava, lava beach club which is a great place to watch the sunset each night. Stacy Lynne was awesome, just an e-mail away with any questions. If and when we are lucky enough to get back to Hawaii we will be back here.

Great stay, great price. I'm not a review type person, however, everything here was just great! The garage full of toys, the house decorated and situated correct. It was just a great experience!

Beautiful Condominium

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable, clean, quiet, well maintained home in Waikoloa Beach Villa. The condo has a beautiful view of the golf course and was everything we had hoped for. We loved the beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boggy boards, cooler....provided for our use. We loved our dinner on the beach at the Lava Lava restaurant minutes from the condo.

Only problem was that the garage door code pad stopped working the second day.

We would highly recommend this property as a base for your island visit.
