Cabo San Lucas Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Cabo San Lucas - Jewel of the Baja - where Desert meets the Sea.

From the moment you see the arch, you will know you are in a special place. Nestled at the tip of the Baja Peninsula or Land’s End, you will be staying just around the corner from the famous arch that divides the Pacific from the Sea of Cortez. Terrasol is located on one mile of private beach on the Pacific surrounded by spectacular rock formations and waves that crash on the shores in hypnotic rhythms. This is Terrasol Beach Resort, unique, quiet, close. There is nothing like it.

You will find the patio is where you will spend most of your time if you are not experiencing all there is to do in Cabo. Bring your binoculars. The view of the Pacific is fascinating. Whales can be seen from December through March and other sea life will keep your interest. There is a a nice table and comfortable chairs to enjoy your time together.

This is an end unit with extra windows to give more light and views. It also is on the top floor and has vaulted ceilings. There is a view of the Pacific from the over sized glass door and adjoining deck and you can rock yourself to sleep by the sound of waves.

It features a King Size pillow top bed with dual side tables & lamps. There is a ceiling fan with the control next to the bed. The air conditioner is a quiet unit that has a sleep setting, thermostatically controlled with a remote control for a peaceful nights rest.

The adjoining master bath features a vanity with lavatory and mirror. The toilet and full-size walk-in shower are in a separate room.

When you enter the Guest Bedroom, you will be greeted by 2 brightly colored Sailfish mosaics.

Two sets of sliding glass doors gives a nice view of the Ocean and vaulted ceiling give this bedroom a lot of light and open feeling. There is a ceiling fan with the control next to the bed. The air conditioner is a quiet unit that has a sleep setting, thermostatically controlled with a remote control for a peaceful nights rest.

It also has a view from a private patio and access to the main patio.

It features a King Size pillow top bed with side tables & lamps and a ceiling fan. There is a desk and mirror and private access to the bath.

The fully furnished kitchen features a 19 cf. refrigerator, dishwasher, self-cleaning oven with range, and a microwave. The kitchen also features a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and more importantly a bottle opener and a lime squeezer. Beer and Tequilla not included but it is fair game if left behind. You could fix Thanksgiving Dinner with what is provided.

The living/dining has vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan and a huge sliding door to take advantage of the view of the Pacific. There is a Queen Sleeper Sofa to accommodate up to six in all, reclining seat, and a glass dining table on a carved stone base. Ceiling fan and air conditioner.

There is a 50" high def TV on the dish network, internet, a dvd player and speakers for Ipod, MP3 players, etc..

The beach and Ocean are the main attractions. If you are a strong swimmer you can swim at the beach. There is a strong riptide. The Red Bull skim boarding contests have been held on the beach and if you like to fish, you can bring your equipment and give it a try from the shore. Cabo is one of the best fishing locations on the planet. I have a couple contacts if you want to try for a big one.

If you are adventurous, you can climb the rocks and go over to Lovers and Divorce beach which surround the arch. There you can do some snorkeling and enjoy a swimming beach.

Terrasol is a perfectly located, low-rise, low-density resort offering privacy and tranquility. It is unique because it is the only privately owned condominium complex on Solmar Beach and it is less than a 5 minute walk to bustling Cabo San Lucas along with its modern marina, shops, restaurants and cantinas. You will avoid long taxi or bus rides to where the fun spots are and you can avoid the expense of a rental car if you choose. There is a place to park a rental car for a fee.

This 1800 square foot luxury condominium is an end unit next to the Playa Grande on the top floor of a two story building. It has three wrap around decks.

About Kevin Gilligan

We were both born and raised in Colorado. We like to kayak, ride bikes, golf and ski.

When we are in Cabo we like to fish, walk the beach, watch sunsets, I swim in the surf (be careful if you do), hike over the rocks to Lover's Beach, Snorkel, go to Santa Maria and Chileano Bays, and maybe our most exciting times have come watching whales.

Kevin Gilligan purchased this condo in 2006

Why Kevin Gilligan chose Cabo San Lucas

Went to Cabo as a teenager in 1973 with some High School buddies. Not much there except natural beauty and great weather.

Vacationed with the family over 30 years later. Realized how close it is and what great weather and a place it is. Decided to buy a time share next door in Playa Grande. There isn't a better location in Cabo. Private beach on one side and a short walk to most everything, it was easy to decide on Terrasol.

What makes this condo unique

Fantastic location. The private beach is one of few in Mexico. It costs the resorts plenty for the privilege but it makes the difference between a relaxing or annoying vacation.

I have been to Cabo 7 times - twice to Terrasol. Kevin's unit is great and just as depicted in the pictures. If you have never been to Cabo I highly recommend staying at Terrasol. And especially at Kevin's place because he provides you with more information about the area and services than you could ever need. The main beach in Cabo (Medano) is open to the public and that is not a good thing. Peddlers constantly asking to sell you something. Terrasol is on Solmar beach which is totally off limits to vendors and therefor much quieter (and arguably safer, but all of Baja is safe). You can also go to any of the other resorts on Solmar if you want to experience more of the party scene. I describe Terrasol as more of a country club on the beach. Going back again in December.

A perfect place to stay in Cabo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while visiting Cabo for a friend's wedding. Kevin handled everything smoothly and responsively, from the initial contact through finalizing the reservation. He sent over an orientation document that helped us prepare for our trip better than I could have hoped. And I am so happy we ended up here. The staff was super friendly and helpful through our stay. The place is clean, comfortable, and bright. Amenities like a coffee maker, dishwasher, blender & laundry, plus satellite TV & wifi (just to name a few), all give the feel of a home away from home. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are spacious and have good water pressure, and the two patios make the place feel even bigger than the already generous size.

The unit itself is located on the west side of the Terra Sol complex and feels adequately private. There are views of Land's End and Solmar Beach...sunrise is particularly nice from the main patio. There are two great pools (one heated with a swim-up bar, and one right on Solmar Beach that is a bit cooler) with plenty of lounge chairs and shade/umbrellas. Plus, you're just a few minutes' walk from downtown/the marina and all of the fun to be had there.

All in all, an incredible trip to Cabo that was made even better by our perfect vacation rental experience. I've already recommended it to friends and family. And I will be looking forward to visiting again, without a doubt. Cheers Kevin!

Fantastic beautiful condo and location

  • 5 of 5

Wow…. what a great trip! Cabo San Lucas and Terrasol Resort is a great vacation spot. I can't say enough about what a wonderful stay we had. Check in was easy and staff friendly and helpful. The very spacious condo was wonderful and beyond my expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. The views are amazing from everywhere in the condo and out on the balcony; from the living room to the large spacious master bedroom and lovely guest room, all with vaulted ceilings and double sliding glass doors which open onto the wrap around balcony that connects them all. Absolutely lovely. And I must say, the sailfish mosaic in the guest room was so much cooler in person. And loved the ‘Wave’ picture over the couch. Well done. Bathrooms are very nice with plenty of counter space and water pressure and the kitchen is very well equipped. And the AC works perfectly, which is critical in October, so we were very cool and comfortable.

Cabo is such a cool place. We got to see Sammy Hagar perform a couple of nights as he celebrated his October 13 birthday at his Cabo Wabo Club just a short distance in town. Awesome! Were able to walk into town for dinner another night. And breakfasts at the Palapas bar and restaurant were fantastic. Definitely recommend the Huevos Rancheros and the Banana Pancakes. And Mario was only all too happy to fix us fresh Margarita at the pool’s swim up Palapas bar. Can’t beat those fresh squeezed limes. And one night they prepared for us some of the Yellow Fin Tuna I caught…. delicious. All in all a great trip and the condo made for a very special, romantic weekend. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you Kevin and Val for all you did to make it happen. Btw, thanks for the orientation information…. very helpful and loved your video.

great place to stay beautiful views of the ocean

  • 4 of 5

this is exactly what we were expecting and more. We came for our daughters graduation 5 of us in total. We had a great parking space close to our condo. We felt like we were the only ones here as the condos are all individually owned. The owners take pride in their places and it showed. There are 2 pools that we had all to our selves most of the time and the breakfast under the palapa was great. Get the pancakes $4.00 awesome!!! Kevin had every thing ready for us. Bring coffee from home as it is expensive here, also bring laundry detergent. We left our open bottles of liquor in the cabinet and so have others. The A/C worked great!! This is about a 5 min walk to the marina and 10 min walk to all the fun bars. You do not need a car but we chose to get one to visit other places. We rented through Cactus and paid $230 for 10 days. We met a few owners here and they all were very friendly. We will be back for sure!!!

Amazing Trip!!

  • 5 of 5

This was such a great place to stay, and we loved our trip to Cabo. It was beyond our expectations and we will totally be back. It allowed us perfect combination of relaxing, peaceful, and crazy all at the same time. The ability to walk into town for dinner every evening was one of our favorite things. We were then able to sit by the pool on the beach and relax all day without it being too congested with other guests. Very relaxing to sit and watch the waves come crashing in. Being able to go to Walmart to stock up for the week we a nice bonus. We enjoyed being able to make some of our own meals and not feel the need to eat out for every meal. And the adventure to get to the store was one of our favorite memories of the trip. The staff at Terrasol are amazing. They were so helpful and had answers for all of our quests. Carlos gave great recommendations for nice places for dinner, and Mario was a delight at the Palapa bar, very tasty pina coladas! Staying here really lets you make your vacation what you want. You don't feel stuck where you are, and are free explore and have a blast!

Thank you Kevin for making the trip so easy to navigate for the detailed email before we even got on the plane. It was great to have that information ahead of time and know what to expect.

We had an amazing time staying at this condo. The condo was spacious and had amazing views! You could see the ocean from every room as well as heat the waves crash onto the beach. I woke up on more than one occasion looking at the ocean from the bed and saw whales jumping. Terrasol is a great location. In the beach and a short walk to down town Cabo. It's also a quite place which was a perfect setting for a relaxing vacation! Thanks Kevin! I'll be back for sure!
