About Ilan & Veronika Morris + UK contact

My wife and I currently own and manage a total of six Prague apartments. We bought our first Prague apartment in 2004 and since then we have made a further two purchases. We started focusing on short-term rentals in 2008 after renovating our first apartment, the four-bedroom 97558).

We also sublease three apartments in lessor and Old Town and view leasing as an important way to expand our business. It enables us to focus on the most prime locations in the city that boast spectacular and unique views of some of Prague’s most iconic attractions.

My wife has 10 years experience in high-level hotel management and her experience in this sector has proved invaluable in professionalizing our business. All our apartments are renovated and/or decorated with a boutique style, using authentic, antique and vintage furnishings collected and added by my wife.

We take great time and care acquiring our furnishings in an effort to create a unique and original experience for our customers. We feel it is important to differentiate ourselves from the ‘four walls and Ikea furniture’ format which is standard in many holiday-let apartments in Prague.

We prefer to focus on a lower number of apartments so that we can maintain and develop each of them with an attention to detail true to our boutique style and principles of quality over quantity.

Our apartments are cleaned and maintained to the highest level and our improvements in both comfort and decor are ongoing. Since we started in 2008 our six apartments have acquired 360 five star reviews on HomeAway and average five stars across two other major sites with additional 300 reviews.

In future we would like to expand our portfolio taking on more renovation projects which focus on converting historical apartments into high-performing holiday rentals. All our renovations aim to capture the spirit and character of the building/ apartment being restored and only take on projects where we feel this can be achieved to the highest end.

Convient, clean, roomy, with great pricing and helpful owners

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the property for 5 days in May. It has 3 good sized bedrooms and a fourth large bed room. Everything we needed was provided (linens, dishes, coffee, tea, coffee maker, tea kettle etc).

The apartment was very clean with high cleanings and lots of windows. The furniture and decor were pleasing. No clutter - huge for me, I hate getting somewhere and having to spend half an hour putting away "decorations" so I have a place to put my stuff while I am there.

It has a washing machine. No drier but there is a drying rack and one electric drying rack. Based on our travels in Budapest and Prague, driers are very uncommon.

The location is IDEAL. It is in a more locals neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. It isn't a tourist area so the quality of food/drinks etc was great and the cost was low. However, it is only a 10 minute walk to Wenceslas Square and all the tourist attractions (new town, old town, little town, Charles bridge, astronomical clock etc.) it is also right off the tram and subway lines. So it was easy to get to tourist attractions further afield (e.g. Terezine, Dox museum).

We came in on the train and it was a short walk to the apt. We could have taken the tram and gotten even closer. We used the subway to the bus to get to the airport - Very easy, quick and convienent.

One down side was the apt was warm but there was enough street noise that leaving the windows open was an issue for 2/4 of us. Being from a city I found it actually not noisy at all but my companions were all from rural areas. One noticed it but was ok with it and 2 found it loud. The other downside was that the wireless had a loose wire that had to be adjusted to get the internet working a few times. The router was near a window so we probably bumped into it opening and closing the window. Easy to fix once we knew what the issue was.

The owner met us at the apt to give us keys and a quick run down of the area and local amenities, including recommendations for food, coffee etc. two of us had the owner arrange a driver to the airport which was cheap and went smoothly.

Overall you can't beat the location, apartment, price or owners helpfulness. All of us highly recommend the place.

Great apartment in Prague

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is exactly as the photos show. Very nice residential neighborhood close to many restaurants and bars. Nice walk to Wenceslas Square and metro stations. Check in was great and Ilan was available day or night with any questions. He also arranged transfers to and from airport and it was flawless. Thank you Ilan and Veronika for sharing your wonderful apartment with us.

This property is all that you could want and more

  • 5 of 5

Its exactly as the photos show. Warm cosy apartment living. Extremely spacious and spotless interior. Checking in was faultless and everything about our stay was hassle free. We would recommend this apt to friends and family. Its close enough to the centre, just a 10 min stroll and accessible to Metro and Trams. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful, bright and spacious apartment

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this property with 6 friends in November 2016. The apartment itself was beautiful - tastefully decorated, very clean and really bright and airy, with plenty of room for a large group. Ilan and Veronika were extremely helpful - they were quick to respond to queries before the stay, and offered a great deal of information, as well as organising airport transfers for us, and during the stay they made sure they were easily contactable, although completely unobtrusive. The apartment is well placed for exploring Prague - a short walk to Wenceslas Square - but far enough from the tourist hotspots that you can benefit from extremely reasonable restaurants/beerhalls in the vicinity. We explored by foot, but there are tram stations very nearby that can take you all the way to the Castle. There are also shops (including a Tesco) and off licences etc less than 5 minutes away, so you can make use of the kitchen facilities at the apartment too. I would definitely recommend this property, especially for a group visit to Prague.

Great stay in Prague!

  • 5 of 5

The owner was incredibly easy to work with. The condo worked out exactly as we hoped for our family of four (mom and kids ages 15, 12, and 10). We purchased a Prague Card and thus had unlimited access to public transport, so we usually hoped on a nearby metro or tram to get around the city, but we did explore on foot some, too, which was nice during the day. Would absolutely rent again.

we have just come back from our visit to prague. This was a excellent apartment that catered for all our needs. the location was ideal for all the sights and the transport routes were on hand if required. the local area also had bars which provided food at a reasonable price. We were well informed regarding local and city sights and found it a great help. we will be visiting again and would not hesitate to use these apartments again.
