36 (flat 1) Northdown Street, has just been renovated and is our beautiful maisonette on the ground floor and garden levels and is part of a Victorian terrace.

It is 60sq/m and can sleep up to 6 people. It has a newly fitted main bathroom (January 2016) which has a bath tub and shower along with an en-suite bathroom with another shower (to the master bedroom) with a 4ft6 wide double bed in the master bedroom and 4ft wide bed in the 2nd bedroom which leads onto the small patio which has a bistro table and 2 chairs.

We have a sofa bed which accommodates 2 people. It has a fully equipped designer kitchen with all mod-cons along with having a dish washing machine (NB there is no washer / dryer machine - there is a self-service along with a service wash laundry facility around the corner (@ 1 Stop Wash, 100 Caledonian Road, N1 9DN / 020 7837 4997). It has a large open plan kitchen / dining room with a dishwasher / TV/DVD and has a sofa bed which can accommodate 2 people.

All the flats are in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. The apartments are located in Central London moments from King's Cross and the Eurostar hub at St. Pancras, with many restaurants, bars and cafés on our doorstep including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the International station), canal side strolls, and easy access to seeing all the sights.

Flat 34 & Flat 36 (1,2,3 and 4) have been renovated and freshly repainted in 2016. All the apartments have a equipped kitchen, a real bathroom and confortable beds.

There’s a banister / handrail and 8 treads on each flight with:

46 stairs to 36 (flat 4)

NB All the apartments are non-smoking; there is no disabled access and no elevator.

NB The apartment comes with linen towels and bedding: The Wi-Fi, central heating, electricity and water costs are included within the price quoted.

We can provide a high-chair, travel cot and bedding if required.

NB The cleaning Fee (50£) is by week and not by journey.

NB Extra days are on average between 175£ and 185£.

Cozy, clean flat in great location

This is a pleasant flat in a truly ideal location for exploring all of London and beyond. Critical information that potential renters should know is that the bedrooms and bathrooms are down a steep flight of stairs from the living areas. This was not a problem for our family but it's good to know in advance. The flat is cozy - there is no extraneous space - but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price is fantastic for this expensive city. We are renting a different flat in the same building later in this trip and Debbie has been easy to communicate for both. We would stay here again.

Fantastic location! Clean and spacious

We really enjoyed staying in Flat 1. Easy access to busses, underground and trains. Large and spacious bedrooms. It was really quiet most of the week (a bit noisy on Saturday). Our daughters loved the outside balcony and wished to stay in the apartment instead of going out for dinner. Great communication with Debbie. Greatly recommended. Thank you

Nice Apartment - Nice People - Great Location

Myself and my 4 kids ranging in age from 10 to 32 stayed in this 2 bed apartment from 29th to 31st March 2016. I found the booking process quite easy - helped very much by the owner Debbie who helped us through the process and provided a lot of very useful information about the apartment itself but also the area it's in and more generally about London - very helpful. The apartment was recently refurbished to a high standard and everything was as advertised - clean and well equipped. The apartment and the location helped make our stay a very enjoyable one - we'll definitely be back. I'd also like to specifically thank Debbie for her personal touch - other people could learn from her - it made a difference. Thanks - Donal

A really convenient place to stay

We were two sisters and one grandson and this place suited us well, though the sofa beds were not the most ideal additional bed for a tall fourteen year old boy. Debbie was most helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage early on our first day and until late on our final day, which enabled us to make the most of our three day stay without dragging suitcases around with us (or paying a fortune for left luggage at the station). The apartment is clean, spacious and well set up with everything that you could possibly need. We were only here for two nights, but could easily have stayed longer as it has everything you need for a prolonged stay. Nice comfy beds and reasonably quiet for London. I would highly recommend this in preference to a hotel.

The flat’s ideally located in the heart of London, 5 minutes walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

KINGS CROSS IS A UNIQUE AND MAJOR TRANSPORT HUB IN CENTRAL LONDON for national and International travel (there’s six subway lines and buses}. Easy access to all stations and the apartment is 1 hour away to all major London airports. The apartment is close to Islington/shops. The City of London, West End and all Zone 1 destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground.

It’s 5 minutes to the British Library / Museum. 10 Mins to the City and London's West End with its fabulous shopping on Oxford St & Regent St, theatres, art galleries and landmarks-Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben. 10 minutes to Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza. 10 minutes to The City of London, with its famous buildings incl.
