Flat 34 (maisonette)

34 Northdown Street, has just been renovated and is our sweet secure modernised maisonette on the ground floor and garden levels and is part of a Victorian terrace.

It is 60sq/m and can sleep up to 6 people. It has a newly fitted main bathroom (June 2016) which has a bath tub and shower along with an en-suite bathroom with another shower (to the master bedroom) with a 4ft6 wide double bed in the master bedroom and 4ft wide bed in the 2nd bedroom which leads onto the small patio which has a bistro table and 2 chairs. It has 2 sofas in the large open plan kitchen / dining room – that can both convert into large single beds which can each accommodate 1 person (x2). It has a fully equipped designer kitchen with a washing machine, drying machine along with the addition of having a dish washing machine along with having a TV/DVD. Wi-Fi, electricity and water costs are included within this price.

All the flats are in a quiet side road with restricted one way traffic 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross St Pancras station (zone 1) with its excellent transport facilities. Most central London destinations are a 10 minute tube ride away. The British Museum is in walking distance and the British Library is around the corner. The apartments are located in Central London moments from King's Cross and the Eurostar hub at St. Pancras, with many restaurants, bars and cafés on our doorstep including the longest champagne bar in Europe (in the International station), canal side strolls, and easy access to seeing all the sights.

Flat 34 & Flat 36 (1,2,3 and 4) have been renovated and freshly repainted in 2016. All the apartments have a equipped kitchen, a real bathroom and comfortable beds.

Overall good place for a short stay. Easy reach for transports and local supermarkets

Pleasant place to stay (family with teens), well equipped kitchen, good beds. Only inconvenient would be the underground vibrations in the lower ground floor bedrooms. Earplugs can be useful!

Lovely little maisonette in the heart of Islington

Our positive experience began with a really easy key pick-up. It was so easy to get there from the Eurostar. The flat was beautifully furnished and well equipped. We explored London from there and had a fantastic time!

Good location, well organized owner and nice apartment

Grandparents Travelling with 3 grand kids really enjoyed this apartment. Owner gave us full information and was very helpful with our stay. The location is excellent especially for connecting to St Pancras for Eurostar to Paris and Kings Cross Station for tube/buses. Close to Tesco Express , Sainsbury and cafes etc. Only issue was hearing rumbling trains during the Saturday night into early morning on Sunday presumably from Underground. Other than that worked perfectly. 5 Stars.

Suits my purposes. Location excellent. Apartments are well facilitated to suit all needs.

Stayed at apts.34 and 36. Both are equally good. Great location, very convenient to everywhere being so close to KX station. Lots of buses with frequent services. Apartments were clean and well presented. Kind and helpful owner and cleaner. Most suitable for longer or short stay. I'll certainly book again for my next visit to London.

The flat’s ideally located in the heart of London, 5 minutes walk away from Kings Cross/St Pancras stations (Eurostar).

KINGS CROSS IS A UNIQUE AND MAJOR TRANSPORT HUB IN CENTRAL LONDON for national and International travel (there’s six subway lines and buses}. Easy access to all stations and the apartment is 1 hour away to all major London airports. The apartment is close to Islington/shops. The City of London, West End and all Zone 1 destinations are accessible in 10 minutes by underground.

It’s 5 minutes to the British Library / Museum. 10 Mins to the City and London's West End with its fabulous shopping on Oxford St & Regent St, theatres, art galleries and landmarks-Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben. 10 minutes to Covent Garden with its street theatre, opera house and shopping Piazza. 10 minutes to The City of London, with its famous buildings incl. St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London & Wren churches. 15 minutes to the South Bank by the River Thames, the London Eye, Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. The flats are very close to Moorfield’s Eye Hospital, UCH, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Harley Street.
