Must see! Tastefully decorated in casual Cape Cod style, all new furnishings, designer beddings, newly renovated kitchen with breakfast bar, open floor plan, new outside private deck, wood burning stove, air conditioned, wifi, cable. Great for sharing split level design, each bedroom has bath. Central location, just 2 blocks from Commercial St and Bay beaches. Nice quiet street but close to all. Provincetown has something for everyone to enjoy!
We are New Yorkers who own 2 vacation rentals: we absolutely LOVE our Sand Dollar Townhome in Provincetown, Massachusetts and our Sand Castle Villa in Rincon, Puerto Rico!
Zulie & Carmen purchased this townhome in 2014
We always loved Provincetown because there is so much to do and see. This townhouse was just perfect for us because it sleeps 4 comfortably, it has a nice yard to enjoy in the warmer months and the wood burning stove is amazing for the chilly weather.
We just opened up the main floor plan with the new kitchen renovation. The bedroom loft upstairs has it's own bathroom and the downstairs bedroom also has it's own full bath. It's a very easy to share space because there are 3 levels. It has a large private back yard deck, on a quiet residential street conveniently located to everything Provincetown has to offer. We also have 1parking spots. A perfect vacation rental for a family or group of friends.
Beautiful home! Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen, baths, deck, LR, etc. Having Wifi was wonderful. When we weren't in town, we enjoyed relaxing on the backyard deck.
The description of the accommodations from Home Away was spot on. Modern, clean and bright townhouse. Full two bedroom and two bathroom with an nice kitchen. Grill and outdoor patio were pleasant and an added bonus. The hosts made sure we were prepped for the beach with towels, chairs and umbrellas. Located in a quiet residential area that is a five-minute walk to the Commercial Street shopping and gallery district in the East End. A great experience overall.
We stayed for one week. At first I was nervous as this was part of a small condo development. But, we settled in nicely and the fact it was not a single standing home did not matter. The unit is very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. One of our traditions in Provincetown is to have a lobster boil. I asked whether there was a lobster pot, but there was not. However, owner went out right away to purchase one and so we were able to have our lobster boil. I call that outstanding care for guests!!!!! The unit is in good walking distance of most of Provincetown. Very nice place and very nice owners.
We could not have found a more perfect place to stay! The condo is immaculate, comfortable and cozy. The split level was perfect for my husband and I and my elderly aunt. It has everything from a coffee maker to extra sheets and towels. The owners are just a phone call away to answer any questions (i.e. if you get lost). If we could give more than 5 stars we would!
The Sand Dollar Townhome was a perfect place for our Cape vacation! There were 4 adults and 2 babies, and because of the split level design, and one bedroom being in the lowest level, and the other on the second level, there was very little disturbance for the babies and enough privacy for the grown ups. The townhome is very comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and perfectly located (just a couple of blocks to Commercial Street!). The outside private deck with grill was an added bonus too! The only thing we wish we had known is that the second bedroom is an open, loft-style space, making it a little difficult to put one of the babies to bed. That said, once the baby was asleep, as long as we weren't too loud, it was totally fine. We will definitely stay at Zulie and Carmen's place again!
I had a blast in Provincetown and this was the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable, convenient, safe and tastefully decorated. I love the owners too. I plan to book again next year if they'll have me :)
