Quaint cottage

Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. Would have loved to know how this house was used back in the day. Overall enjoyed our brief stay.

Charming and lovely country house

I have rarely been so charmed by a vacation rental. Marie-Claire's house dates to 1614, stone walls, rustic ceiling beams, spacious rooms, and a peaceful and large outdoor space complete with climbing roses. Marie-Claire was a gracious and attentive host. As a base for visiting the chateaux of the Loire Valley and the many beautifu towns in the area, we couldn't have enjoyed any accommodation more. Being able to end each day with dining and sipping wine in the peaceful, picturesque garden was such a bonus. Lots of room for all of us.

Fabulous stay in Loire!!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a relaxing, and much needed, break after several days in the hustle and bustle of Paris. The home is truly charming and quite cozy. We all enjoyed bike rides, ping-pong and excursions to nearby chateaux. Considerations-The wi-fi works best on the main room and doesn't have a strong signal elsewhere in the home. This isn't really surprising since the house is stone, but something to keep in mind. Also, the beds were quite firm. All-in-all, this was a truly fabulous place to stay and our favorite thus far. Thank you!

Nous sommes venus pour fêter un anniversaire entourés des enfants et petits enfants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gite charmant et avons passé de bons moments devant la cheminée en ce mois de Novembre .Sur les conseils de Marie Claire nous sommes allés chez le charcutier de Candé sur Beuvron et la boulangerie de Chailles pour l'élaboration de notre repas d’anniversaire et en sommes très satisfaits et le gite est très bien approprié pour ce genre d'évenenement. Gite à conseiller...
