This was the perfect flat for my parents and I for our two week holiday. The street was very quiet but close to anything you could possibly need. The bus stop was a short walk and the Sloane Square tube station was also very close, very convenient for sightseeing. Lots of great shopping, restaurants and grocery stores right in the neighborhood within walking distance - would highly recommend the Queen's Head Pub which is about 100 paces from the flat! Beds were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels and it was extremely convenient to have a washer/dryer in the flat. There is a very large closet in the bedroom which was handy for storage, and the kitchen and bath have recently been updated which was very nice - the full size fridge/freezer in the kitchen was an unexpected bonus! Fay was very responsive prior to our arrival, the flat was easy to find and we had no issues during our stay. I would definitely recommend this flat to others and plan to stay here again myself when I return to London. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
Safe, secure flat one block off of King's Road. Fully equipped flat. Great pub a short walk up street. Lots of shops, grocery stores, and dining options a short walk from flat. Quiet area but still close to bus stops and Sloan Square tube. Perfect for my daughter and I. Very safe neighborhood. Designer stores short walk away. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and handy washer/dryer. Very accommodating property manager, too. Main entrance has Keyed entry, flat on ground floor. No street or other flat noise. Would recommend this flat to anyone who wants a quiet, safe flat for great value! Would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in London!
This clean, safe, and comfortable flat is location just off the Kings Rd near Sloane Square in lovely Chelsea. The manager Fay Williams was a pleasure to deal with and made our stay a convenient and pleasurable one to remember. The rental was a good value, nice but nothing fancy, and we'd happily stay there again.
The apartment has ample light and was quiet at night. Good closet space for storing all our many suitcases. The living room was quite comfortable and gave us enough room to spread out after days out in London. We easily cooked our meals in the well-equiped kitchen and easily did our laundry as well. The bathroom was modern with enough space for the two of us to get ready in the morning. The bedroom was warm and restful. The building is secure and in a good neighborhood. We felt very comfortable walking around day or night.
Elysian Place is located near a pub and some welcoming cafes in a little shopping square off the Kings Rd. On the Kings Rd itself you're in walking distance of many cafes, pubs, and restaurants, a grocery store, a Marks & Spencer dept store (Love this place!). You're walking distance to the Metro Station, many Bus Stops, and Cabs are quite frequent. Sloane Square itself is vibrant in the heart of Chelsea. We found ourselves walking home from the London sites back to Chelsea on many nights.
The entire experience made us feel like we lived there and I cannot wait to return.
This lovely little flat is the perfect 'home base' for a London vacation. The home offers all the amenities a traveller needs, including a comfy bedroom, modern bath, fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room that doubles as a dining space and second small bedroom. Cable TV and wifi are a definite bonus. It has been fully renovated and attractively decorated. The Chelsea location has a nice neighborhood feel, close to shops and dining and just a short walk to the Sloane Square Underground station - from which you can access the entire city. Rental manager was friendly and attentive to our needs. As a fellow vacation property owner, I was impressed with the attention to detail and give the property a 5-star rating.
I would recommend this flat for:
--A solo traveller, couple, small family or small group of students
--Anyone comfortable navigating London on their own
--Travelers planning a longer London stay - 5 days or more
Definitely consider this home for your London vacation - you will not be disappointed!
Very nice apartment, just one minute from King's road and very close to Sloane Square tube station. The apartment is perfect for 3 people. It was really clean and well equipped. The place is astonishing quiet what it is good for resting after a exhauting day visiting the City. The owner is really nice and she wants you to feel like home. Around the house there are many restaurants, pubs and supermarket. I highly recommend it.
Within a stone's thrown can be found bars and restaurants galore, prestige shopping (Harrods, etc.), history (Buckingham Palace, House of Parliament, Museums and Art Galleries galore, Tower of London, London Eye ect ect). The King's Road became famous as the 'in' place in the 60s with many pop starts and other celebrities making it their home, and to this day retains its special character. Every which way are to be found historic buildings, museums and art galleries.
