Full amenities, full kitchen with all you need, bed now has super comfortable mattress topper. My 44 years as a resident and 40 years as a Realtor will assist in making sure you know where to go and what to do to make it the ultimate stay.

Picturesque beautiful park right next door.

Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. yet the view is pure magic Hawaii. The unit has EVERYTHING you need and more. Full kitchen with all the appliances, dishes, etc. great selection of condiments. High speed internet connection wifi (bring your laptop). Assigned free parking.

Tastefully decorated, murphy bed ez to handle, WIFI, cable with basic channels, DVD player, so much more. The building has 24 hour security, great swimming pool barbecue area, walk to quaint restaurants and shops.

It was a great location! Easy parking and a cute studio complete with everything we needed for our stay. Nice Lagoon view and easy to get to downtown Hilo and all the main attractions! Great price and would recommend it !!! Thanks for another great VRBO

Charming and efficient and a great location

I booked this condo for a friend visiting from California and it exceeded my expectations. It was meticulously clean, comfortably furnished, and the kitchen was convenient.

It's a great location, easy walking distance to downtown Hilo and the beach. The balcony overlooks Wailoa River Park, making it a perfect place to have tea and watch the sunrise.

I'll definitely recommend this condo to visiting friends in the future.

Owner's Response: mahalo for your response. The issues that were in the previous review were ALL addressed and all is beautiful in the unit. The A/C is totally fixed and please come and enjoy this super Hilo spot to stay.

Hilo Lagoon not as expected

Saw roaches. No cover on smoke alarm. Kitchen utensils and drawers were not clean. No air conditioning. (We saw your note) Mattress was old and "beat down". Pool was cold. Bathtub was " scummy".

Owner's Response: THAT is not acceptable, and I truly am sorry, I take pride in having it clean and ready. I wish you would have contacted me immediately. FIRST the A/C in the entire bldg was out for several weeks and HAS BEEN FIXED, it was something that was unforeseen and every owner and tenant in the bldg had to deal with and had nothing we could do. ALL other issues would have been dealt with immediately if I had known. YOU came the same day and a tenant that was there for 2 months left, and apparently the cleaner did NOT fully clean and have it up to my standards any bugs were apparently brought in then and will be dealt with right away.. The cleaner be reprimanded accordingly. ALL the issues you mentioned will be rectified immediately, I appreciate you informing me of these issues, as IF I am not told I have no way of knowing, PLEASE BE SURE NOW with the A/C on and all the issues taken care of this is a super place for your Big Island adventure. I will make sure :)

Convenient location, pleasant stay

Studio unit facing the park and lagoon is really lovely. You get the morning sun. The studio had every thing you needed with, while small, fully functional kitchen. The floating parking was no problem. The waterfront is just a few blocks away crossing through the park. The Murphy bed worked quite easily, though it could stand better pillows and not such a noisy mattress cover. The pool is huge and never very busy, though no shade. Laundry facilities on site are clean, inexpensive and do a good job. I would certainly consider coming here again.

Clean studio, great location

We enjoyed our stay at Hilo Lagoon. Great quiet location, and just the right size for 2 people. The whole apartment was nice and clean, kitchen was just the right size and usable with a full size fridge and cooktop. Terry was very helpful and approachable. Restaurants and supermarket at walking distance. The only negative was it smelt a little stuffy when you first enter the room. This is probably not unusual considering how much rainfall Hilo gets. The smell went away once a window was opened or the air-conditioning was turned on.
