Fun family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. Our teen daughters felt comfortable swimming in the pool and laying on the beach without us and the small pool was perfect for our three year old son to practice his swimming! The location was great. Really easy to run into town for groceries and close enough to the east side of the island to head over for dinner and get to Punta Sur for the day. We made use of all of the snorkeling gear and beach toys provided in the condo. We were happy to have comfortable beds and a clean kitchen to cook in when we needed a home-cooked meal. Alex, the local concierge, checked on us a few times and the information provided before we left and in the condo was really helpful. Loved that there was a drawer full of maps about the island. You must check out the new art gallery and Mexican handmade goods store, CucuRucucu on Calle 10 con Rosado Salas. The owner was really nice and she has high quality Mexican handmade pieces for fair prices. Thanks for a great family vacation!!!

Wonderful time in Cozumel

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time during our 9 night stay at this condo. We traveled with 2 adults. (2)17 year olds and (1)14 year old. The condo is well stocked. There were plenty of cooking utensils, plates and cups. We had breakfast every day and several other meals as well. The view is beautiful from all of the decks. We enjoyed coffee and several meals every day looking over the pool to the ocean. There are plenty of pool floats, snorkel gear, umbrella, beach chairs you name it. Snorkeling is excellent right on this beach. We saw lots of colorful fish, sea urchins and my son found a star fish. Each room has an air conditioner and it is very welcome after tooling around the island on a hot day. We utilized the grocery service for the 1st day and it was so nice to have groceries waiting for us when we arrived. The manager Alex was very helpful and knowledgeable about the condo and things to do on the island.

We rented a jeep from Ernesto's. It was definitely what you would call "no frills"(ie- no air, radio etc... ) but we felt like that added to the charm of tooling around the island. We taxied into town a few times and it was very easy to get a taxi to and from the Condo.

We enjoyed the "other side" of the island and went several days. It is so beautiful and the kids had fun boogey boarding in the waves(boards are at the condo!). We recommend Playa Bonita and Coconuts on the East side of the Island. Playa Bonita had the best Mexican platter and pin'a coladas. Both restaurants had amazing views of the beach and interesting ambiance.

We ate at the money bar one night- the food was good and they had a live band and lots of dancing.

The teens enjoyed parasailing at Mr. Sancho's beach club. They also had a blast on the pirate cruise(highly recommended for teens) and Senior Frogs.

We used Mario Cey as a dive master and he was great. Mario is a genuinely nice guy.. The entire crew did a beach dive at the Takila bar with Mario. It was a great first dive and we saw a beautiful seahorse. The kids rated Takila bar to have the best nachos. We also used Mario for reef dives and he was very informative and takes great pictures.

We went to the Mega supermarket several times while at the Condo. It is easy to navigate and they have plenty of parking in the garage in the back. You can find everything you need there. We recommend you must try any(all) of the fresh pastries they have in their bakery.

Amazing views, snorkeling & privacy! Just what we needed!!

  • 5 of 5

I'm not exaggerating when I say this property was everything it said it would be. Pool, beach, snorkeling, views were steps away. The owners went above & beyond to provide snorkel equipment, beach chairs, games, etc. If something wasn't working (or we couldn't figure out how to make it work) Alex, the manager was there- pronto- to get it up & running!

Cozumel on the ocean!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at Paradise Condos for 5 days in April and enjoyed our time there very much. The condo is on the 2nd floor and had a great view of the ocean and pool area. There are 4 buildings in this 12 unit complex with 3 units in each building. We enjoyed the other tenants and owners who were very friendly and mainly from Canada and US.

The condo is well appointed with adequate furnishings and supplies. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating utensils so you could easily prepare your own meals. It could use a few more wine glasses and shot glasses (you see where our priorities lie). Drinking water is supplied by owners. There is a boom -box to play CDs with a drawer of oldies to choose from. Wi Fi is good --no problems there. There are a few TV's but we didn't watch. There is a BBQ to grill your steaks and hammocks to relax on the decks. There is snorkel gear, flotation mattresses and noodles for the pool, beach chairs and 2 bikes. Some of the life jackets need updating.

There was a designated parking space for our car.

We enjoyed going down to the Money Bar which is closest for entertainment--music and happy hour. It's about 1 mile down the road. Uvas Beach Club is next door but closed at 5 so only went over one day. Vendor prices were high--$35 for a small 6 inch hand painted salsa bowl. Yi yi yi !!

We rented a jeep and went to some great places all around the island. Loved Coconuts Bar with great views and local ambiance. Had a nice breakfast at the place on top of the museum in San Miguel. Panchos Backyard was excellent. Lots of nice shops and places to go in San Miguel (about 4 miles from condo).

We enjoyed relaxing at the condo, swimming at the pool and lounging at the beach.

The place is very well maintained with workers cleaning the pool and landscape daily.

There was fresh painting going on in the front and several units were being upgraded. But all very quiet and unobtrusive. We enjoyed the 2 resident bunnies and lovely hibiscus and other flowers in bloom throughout the complex. There is a new palapa on the roof deck. Once new table & chairs get installed it should be wonderful! We were able to see much of the air show from there.

All in all, we would definitely come back again. It's a very special place.

Thanks Jim and Kellerey!

Top Knotch

We loved our stay at this condo. The inside decor is beautiful and super clean, the location perfect, the beds were super comfy, the wifi was quick, we had house keeping one time during the week, and the house keeper did a fantastic job. Our party included my husband and myself, our 15 year old son, and 81 year old father. The condo was perfect for all of us. The family atmosphere in the complex was friendly, the pool was super convenient, and my son and father-in-law loved snorkeling right off the front. Our dive boat was able to pick us up in front of the condo as well, even though there is no dock. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It really was perfect.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a week in Cozumel! Went with blended family of 5 teenagers. The condo was a good size. The beds are comfortable. Great balconies! Nice pool area and a sandy beach. Condo stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo and soap, laundry detergent, fresh water, dish soap and dishwasher soap. Mid week maid service was great. The water pressure isn't great but plenty to get clean. There are two bikes they need to be serviced and that was being arranged. You can take really long rides along the shore on bike only roads. If you like to bike look into renting a road bike. We left some snorkel gear as there wasn't enough for seven of us!! You can snorkel right from shore. Lots of colorful fish. Definitely take a boat trip out to Columbia Reef. You can either dive or snorkel. We would highly recommend planning a trip with Herman. He had 5 of us diving after a 15 minute lesson. He's a very fun guide and the lunch on the boat was delicious. It was the best part of the trip. You can also snorkel at the same reef and see lots of stuff. Definitely check out the local joints like Mr. taco, Los Seros. We could feed 7 people for under $40. La Perlita has amazing seafood. Definitely check it out. There is the Mexivan equivalent of a super Walmart called Mega right in San Miguel where you can get anything you need. A bit overwhelming the first time if you don't know Spanish but with 5 kids we went daily so got to know it well. There is a little food truck on the way to SanFrancisco beach on the main road that is amazing. Homemade tortillas made to order.

You definitely should get a car but you actually could not leave for a week and have everything you need. We were there a busy week. Mixed crowd. Everyone friendly and respectful of quiet hours. So really no issues on that front bit really is an ideal property pictures don't do it justice!!
