About Audrey and Matt

Our family of six loves to travel, and when we discovered the vacation home option instead of hotels, we knew we wanted a rental property of our own to share with others. We hope our cottages enhance your vacation like so many homes have done for us. We love meeting and talking with people from all over, so please feel free to give us a call!- Audrey and Matt

Why Audrey and Matt chose Missouri

We've always loved Old Town St. Charles because of its charm, fun atmosphere, and historic architecture. When we saw this little brick house for sale we thought it was just perfect and would be a way for us to enjoy the area even more and let other people experience it too.

What makes this house unique

With everything in walking distance, we love that we don't have to pile everyone into the car when we want to go eat, shop, or play. The many festivities and events happening all year round, give the whole family something to enjoy.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"We rented all 3 properties for my daughter's wedding in St. Charles. We had plenty of space for everyone and they were all so impressed with the homes. The homes were meticulously kept, and the furnishings were lovely. We were right in the middle of the historic district with shops and restaurants on our doorstep. The owners had very thoughtfully provided an array of snacks and menus for local restaurants. Although we did not make use of them, there were strollers, play pens, bouncy seats, ice chests. Upstairs were a few toys for younger children, wii games and board games for the whole family. I don't think you could find a better place to spend a few days--or longer. We are already planning a return visit with children and grandchildren. And we will most certainly be staying in the same property. It is a great base for exploring St. Louis and being able to walk locally in St. Charles and along the river. "

Wonderful accommodations

  • 5 of 5

This place was a gem and we are so glad we found it. We will definitely come back again if traveling to the St. Louis area. Its a short drive to major attractions, 30 minutes to zoo and city museum/downtown area. St. Charles is very charming and we loved the festivies that were going on and walking main street and doing some shopping. The kids loved staying on the 3rd floor all by themselves and had a blast playing on the Wii and we loved the quiet respite the basement provided. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect

Perfect house ... Cozy and charming for our family. We did the zoo, cardinals game, city museum and arch. Loved staying out of the city in the st Charles area. Walked right behind the house to the cobble stone historic district to shop and eat. Great bedding and fresh flowers. Snacks and drinks went over over well with my teenagers!! Thanks

Property was easy to locate and we enjoyed having more space than a hotel room. It was very clean.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here at the Guest House. Easy access to Main Street and enjoyed the corner ice cream parlor. We would consider staying here again and would highly recommend to friends. There is much more to see in St. Charles and St. Louis than what we had time to do.

Clean and Open

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for the wedding of my son. The location was very convenient for the wedding reception and not far from the church. The property had a lot of space and could very easily accommodate the groom, grooms family, groomsmen (7) and ushers the morning of the wedding for breakfast and to get dressed. Everyone was very impressed by the size, great area and cleanliness of the home. This is my first experience, but won't be my last, thank you for making it great.
