YOU CAN BE LIVING ON THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER STREET IN THE FAMOUS MEDIA DISTRICT OF DOWNTOWN BURBANK nestled in the mountain foothills on a tree-lined, safe, and upscale residential area. It's wonderfully close to everything fabulous and enjoyable about L.A. By the Month and longer.
REGULAR RATES ALL YEAR ROUND - $6800/Month (1 month minimum). Perfect for 4 persons. Each extra person over 4 persons, an additional $15 per night per person is charged. 30 Night Minimum, Maximum 6 Persons. Housekeeping is not Included in Rental (2 sessions per month @ $150 each prepaid per month renting). Additional Housekeeping sessions on request at $150 per session. A $350/Mo Utilities Fee is added to reservation and is refundable as long as the first $300 Per Month which is paid by owner has been exceeded. If Monthly Utilities (Gas, Elect/Trash, Water) are not over $300 per month collectively, you will be refunded anything that has not been utilized. Refunds generally take 30 days or sometimes sooner for bills to arrive. DirecTV is included, Internet/Wi-Fi included in Monthly rental. PPV NOT included. CHECKS ARE WELCOME if you wish not to pay the pesky credit card fees. Credit cards accepted and a 3% Visa/MC or -5% Amex charge will be added to reservation if you choose this method. Again, CHECKS ARE WELCOME within the U.S. Full payment 30 days prior to occupancy and paid directly to owner. If your rental is over 45 days, the charges may be paid in 2 parts. Your entire rental must be paid 30 days prior to your arrival. International reservations must be paid on VRBO by credit card only. VRBO will add their service charge no matter which way is paid either through Check or Credit Card. Reservations are confirmed only through guest's payment. VRBO/Homeaway will release each party's personal personal email & telephone information at time of payment.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PROCEEDING: There is a Guesthouse in the rear of the property where the pool is. Owners are in motion picture business and stay in the guesthouse whenever in town. Since owners do not always know in advance when they will be out of town, it is best for potential renters to assume owners may be on property. Owners have their own entrance/exit in backyard which allows for your privacy and there are no restrictions on your backyard, pool or outside spa usage. This is a non-smoking home for any smoking and if smoking is taking place in house, your entire deposit is used to deep clean the entire home. Smoking is fine outside with doors closed. Filming anywhere on property is cause for immediate eviction. Owners really are easy going and friendly and very much enjoy guests having a great time. Kids are definitely encouraged to be kids while staying. Owners are unfazed by noise by kids, dogs and adults having fun.

Hotels cannot give you what this home offers in intimacy, space, privacy and price. The pictures can't tell you just how great this place really is! Fully supplied and lovingly maintained. The home is located in the foothills of the Verdugo Mountains in a beautiful upscale neighborhood and offers a very comfortable slice of heaven. A huge 10x10' STEAMROOM with Deep Tub Spa & 3 Shower Heads. 2 Fireplaces (1 Upstairs/1 2-Way Granite Surround Downstairs); Prof'l Stainless Kitchen, The 2nd Bathroom-peaceful & Zen glass tiled, Grand Room, Library, Central Heat, 2 A/C units (upstairs/ downstairs), DSL/Wireless, DirecTV with seasonal NFL Package -- TVs include: 65' TV-HDMI in Grand Room, with HDMI TVs in each of 3 bedrooms. Child(ren) and/or your dog are welcome. Property is doggie escape proofed.
The exterior pool and jacuzzi are in this rear garden area. A 5 ft. safety gate may be used which surrounds the pool and spa for our youngest guests. There are no restrictions for usage of the property, pool or spa EXCEPT any commercial or private filming of any kind is an absolute breach of rental terms. Termination immediate. If you are bringing more than one dog, owners must be informed and there will be a charge.
1st Floor: Full Professional Stainless Steel Kitchen (Elite Refrigerator, 48' Thermador Double Oven/4-Burner/ Grill & Griddle with 60' Stainless Hood; Stainless Bosch Dishwasher, 2 Complete Sinks & Disposals in different areas of kitchen, all beautiful granite around counter tops, Bar, 2-Way Fireplace, Bamboo Floors, Microwave, All Cooking Utensils, Dishes etc., Pots/Pans. Everything for the exotic and gourmet chef, but also a happy kitchen for a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee. Grand Room has 2-Way Fireplace (gas or wood) with Dining & Family areas; 65' HDMI Flat Screen on Wall; Library area (1 Full Leather Couch/Bed); 1 King Bedroom; 1 beautiful and smaller glass tiled Zen Full Bathroom--a wonderful place to contemplate; Wood Slider Doors off Grand Room lead to back gardens where gates and walls are high enough for your dog not to escape if you're bringing one.
2nd Floor: Magnificent views from EVERY upstairs window, deck and balcony. HE3 Washer & Dryer very convenient upstairs in hall;
Master King Bedroom Suite: Tropical in design/decor. Wall switch ignition ambiance fireplace; 31' Sony XBR-Wega mounted HDTV; Small Kitchen in Foyer w/Bar Sink/Disposal, Refrigerator, Dishes; 2 Fanimation Fans for cool breezes. French Doors which open to a Mediterranean-style deck showered with bougainvillea for morning sunrises and coffee.
Master Bath: 14x14' of Tile and Glass. Within that room is a 10x10' Steamroom, Deep Tub Spa with jets; 2 Full Shower Heads and 1 Handheld. It's so big we call it the Conference Room. The views from the large ventilated windows are towards the Hollywood Hills and Universal City. Breathtaking.
Master Closet: Walk around the closet from the Foyer Bedroom and end up in the 3rd Bedroom/Office. (3rd bedroom accessible from hallway too). Each Bedroom has separate doors to this closet. Plenty of drawers and places to hang everything. Custom shoe rack for lots of shoes and 2 pants racks.
3rd Bedroom: (Office area also) This upstairs cozy and comfortable bedroom does not have its own bathroom, but talk about sunset views on the Balcony accessible from this room! Wow! Walk out the glass door into this Sun Room on the 2nd story. It's a beautiful area with lighting, fan, airy drapes, couch, chair and privacy. Sunsets and quiet chats are no stranger to this room. It's a spectacular space when it rains too.
Library: A leather Sofa located in Library is a comfy spot to read the many books in this room.
Backyard: Outside large charcoal/propane combo BBQ with smoker & extra burner; plus extra propane BBQ. The Spa and 5ft deep 35' long Pool are in the back of property and for your pleasure. Summer Fun! *Mom/Dad info: The pool & spa is safety gated. If your children are old enough to have the gate removed, that can be done. Ping Pong Table "Outdoor Pro" for tons of outdoor fun for everyone.
No smoking in this home...If there's smoke...you better be on fire!!! Smoking only outside on deck, balcony with doors closed. Yards are fine too. Smoking in home is a 15 yard penalty and your entire security deposit is at risk when home must be deep cleaned and guests coming in directly after you are affected. Ashtrays provided outside. Please take this very seriously.
7 minutes to/from Burbank Airport; 10 minutes to NBC, CBS, ABC, Universal, Burbank Studios, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network; 15 minute walk to Metro; 7 minutes to Equestrian Center or up mountain to DeBell Golf Course; 2 minute drive/10 minute walk to Media District restaurants and theatres. 10 minutes Zoo & Museums. 10 minutes to St. Joseph's Medical Center; 17 minutes to Downtown L.A.; 2 minutes walk to six different churches/synagogues/temples. 2 minutes to grocery stores. 5 minutes to 5 Fwy, 10 to 134/101, 12 to 405. The location of the house is great, on the nicest street in Burbank and a short walk to downtown. The house is on the foothills of the Virdugo Mountains. A one mile ride up takes you to spectacular walking trails and some of the best views in Los Angeles. Even closer than the trails is the Debell Golf Course, which is fun, cheap and has a good restaurant and a driving range.
The house is unbelievably well appointed, which reflects how much the owners, Patti and Mark, care. They live in a guest house in the fenced-in rear of the property and are warm and gracious and generous company, but respectful of your privacy if that is what is wanted. For us and our dogs, their presence was always welcome and appreciated and accommodating.
The house has an extremely high end kitchen, including a professional chef's oven with grill, not including the outside grills. The master bedroom is large, has ample walk-in closet space, and one of the nicest bathrooms one could imagine, including a large steam shower.
The other two bedrooms are generously sized. A comfortable living room includes a 60 inch television with Direct TV. There are several sitting areas, all of which accommodate working with a laptop.
Its hard to express how comfortable we have been here during our two month stay. We will miss being here at the house and will miss Patti and Mark. We will surely be back.
Best place to say in LA
My two boys and I stayed at this property for 9 months from September 2014 to May 2015. We had a wonderful stay! I did not realise how convenient this location is until I start exploring Greater LA. The house is a few minutes drive from grocery stores, restaurants, YMCA gym. The largest shopping mall (Galleria/Americana) is nearby. Universal Studio is only 10 minutes away. You can quickly get on I-5 and go anywhere. The owner's description is very accurate. It is on the best street of Burbank. Walking around the neighbourhood is very pleasant. If you are more energetic, join owner Mark biking to the top of the mountain. I bet you he will win. Patti and Mark are the warmest landlords I have met. Patti and her friend Carrie are like professional chefs. Mark is pro at grill. They gave us the best Thanksgiving experience. My boys spent lot of time in the backyard pool. They loved chatting with Patti and Mark and miss their visiting dogs Maxie and Bumblebee. After staying there for 9 months, we became a family. Mark and Patti took very good care of their property. Gloria who has cleaned this house for 18 years is a super cleaning lady. In short, if you are visiting LA area, you will not go wrong by staying at this place.
My family was nervous to spend a month away from the comforts of home, but we all felt "At HOME" immediately. This trip and our stay in Mark and Patty's home made us fall in love with Los Angeles. Up until this trip, we had stayed a few other places around LA and not felt at ease. We LOVE Burbank!!! I start by giving a BIG thank you to our hosts, for the experience and the friendship. The home met our needs perfectly. The neighborhood was just as wonderful. My 12 year old made friends, my new driver was able to maneuver the streets safely and was just a few blocks from the YMCA for his workouts. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The gourmet kitchen is perfectly stocked. The beds are comfortable and I loved the steam shower!! There is light and love in this home! We took walks in the neighborhood and even climbed the spectacular mountain that's just at the end of the neighborhood! I highly recommend this home. AWESOME HOME TO STAY IN
My family and I love this home and the owners, Mark and Patty. We stay for the month of July and this home is exactly what we were looking for. Easy access to shopping, freeways and just in and out of Burbank, my girls love the backyard with the pool and ping pong table plus we were able to grill out as well. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was great to cook in as well, Mark and Patty are the greatest and were always there to help with anything we needed, you will not go wrong staying at this property and we will be back there is it not all booked up.
What More Could You Want
I hate to give this wonderful home a super great rating, lest word get out and it be booked the next time I want to visit the area. When we walked into the home initially, I kept asking, is all this space ours to use. The owners are amazing, just like the home. Our small gathering on New Year's eve was so much fun with friends from around the country in for the Rose Bowl. Patti and Mark, the owners accepted our invitation to attend. They are welcoming and comfortable people, just like their home is. Loved the space, the kitchen, the pool, the spacious upstairs bath/steam room and the sun of California as I sit in Michigan with a temp of 20 BELOW ZERO! Can't wait to return.
Great Family Vacation 5-12 December 2013
House was first class all the way. Completely immaculate. Very comfortable beds. We slept four very comfortably including my two 80+ yr old parents. Upstairs suite gave us privacy when we needed it. Kitchen was first rate with every cooking utensil any chef would appreciate right on down to multiple types of wine opener. Loved cooking on the huge gas stove. Even cooked on the outside grill once. Perfect setting for our 18 month old grandson to come and visit every day. He ran around the spacious inside and loved playing in the backyard as well. Pictures don't do the place justice. Don't pass on the steam room. It was very relaxing. Had weather been warmer we would have taken advantage of the pool as well. Walking distance to the Burbank Mall and mutiple restaurants. (Not to mention two micro-breweries). Patti and Mark living in the cottage in back makes them available if you need them. We didn't need anything but made a point to talk to them. They too are as great as their place. We're convinced that had we needed anything they would have been very responsive. Great place for any couple or family. Bill and Sandy from Centerville , GA won't hesitate to stay there again.
