We were already familiar with this rental house after spending time there with a friend on two other occasions. Having enjoyed our time there it came to mind when we were looking for a place to 'get away' for a few days mid-week with our children and grand children. There were ten of us total. Six adults and four children. Perfect bedroom set up for all of us. Great kitchen to spend time gathered around the large island. The kitchen was well furnished with all you could need. From utensils to dishwasher. Lots of dishes, etc. Two porches, front and back (back is large screened in porch) to sit on and enjoy the views. We happened to have beautiful October days and enjoyed going for walks down to the lake and exploring the quiet neighborhood. My husband and I (grandparents) stayed in the large master bedroom that had a sliding door out to the screened in porch. Great Master bath. Both sets of parents had their own rooms and then the children (two in each room) had their own rooms. Idea for our family group. We brought some prepared meals like chili and soup and pasta, so not a lot of prep and cooking. Just heating up. Plus we went out to eat. Good restaurants in the area. Plus you can order, pick up and bring in food. The whole house is set up wonderfully with lots of space to gather. A fireplace in the living room and a fire pit outside. We used both. We brought the packaged pressed logs for the living room fireplace so we didn't have to bother with wood inside. The home was clean and well maintained. Lots of space for the children to play in the downstairs basement. Plus pool table that the men really enjoyed (girls too). We took lots of pictures and made some great family memories. Can't wait to go back. We all agreed we could have stayed longer. Next time. :)
The property is excellent - great house with plenty of room; super kitchen, fire pit, outdoor shower and hot tub were all used by our guests. Weather was perfect and we spent time at the great beach about a block away. Booked with friend to ride the hilly vineyard lined roads and we'll return again next year. Must visit Greenbush Brewery while there. RSVP rentals was great to work with. Highly recommended!
