Guestbook comments from the owner

This was the trip of a lifetime for my husband, my two children and myself. From the moment we arrived at Village Cay to board Serenity till the moment we were back at the ferry dock to head home to the states, we were treated like royalty. When we arrived, we were greeted with open arms and warm, inviting smiling faces from our crew, Travis – our Captain and Natasha, first mate and chef extraordinaire. We were shown around the vessel and our quarters for the week. We unpacked and relaxed and were asked if we needed or wanted anything. We were so spoiled for the week. When someone loves what he/she does, it is not considered work. You can see that Travis and Natasha love what they do. Travis’ knowledge of the British Virgin Islands is exemplary. He showed us the best places to snorkel and to visit. We snorkeled in the caves at Norman Island (which I loved the best) at Peter Island and at Cooper Island. We went to Virgin Gorda where we had a picnic lunch at The Baths – so very beautiful. We learned about the boat – the Bow, Stern, Port Side and Starboard Side. We learned that the little boat used to bring you closer to shore is called a Tender. We learned so much about the islands, as well. Thank you, Travis, for your expertise. And, thank you for speaking to the Weather Gods before we got there to give us such calm water and beautiful weather. And, thank you Natasha, for your expertise in the galley. Not only were our meals delicious; they were healthy as well. Natasha’s breakfast parfaits and smoothies, red snapper over a coleslaw salad over quinoa (Natasha told me it’s all about texture – and it sure was), mid-afternoon cheese and meat platters with crackers and fruit, pita with sundried tomatoes, shrimp and pesto with sriracha sauce, lunchtime salads, just to mention a few meals, all left my family wanting this at home. Thank you, Natasha, for sharing your recipes with me. I will try to duplicate them, but cannot guarantee they will be the same. You put so much love in each meal and planned so well for us. We will always reminisce with happy memories of this trip and hope to see Travis and Natasha again, two people who passed through our lives that I would like to call “forever friends”.

Total Relaxation

  • 5 of 5

Our week aboard the Karizma KJ was the most relaxing vacation our family has ever had. Byron and Michelle took care of our every need. They really did feel like part of the family. I really think a catamaran is the best way to spend your time in the islands. I highly recommend this catamaran and especially Byron and Michelle. We love y'all and can't wait to return.

We cannot thank you enough for making our family vacation so special! The food was fantastic, the anchorages and scuba diving were awesome, and our crew soon began to feel just like old friends. Can't wait till next year!

Ultimate Island-Hopping Adventure with Friends

  • 5 of 5

"Breeze, booze, snooze, cruise. Overall, a wonderful week of fun and relaxation with gracious hosts. We learned how to "trim the sails", ate like royalty and forgot all about the stresses of work and city life. It was so nice to reunite with our old friends. What a blast! My face still hurts from smiling so much! With a "helms-a-lee!" and a "jibe-ho!"....we will certainly be back!"

Fantastic trip

  • 5 of 5

With Jessica's help, we chartered the Amazing Blues catamaran in Dec 2016 and had the most wonderful time! Jessica was 100% attentive every step of the way and made sure that everything was seamless. So glad I stumbled upon her and her services and can't recommend her highly enough:)

And if you can, charter Amazing Blues and be prepared for the most fantastic captain and first mate/chef, John and Shirelle. I almost cried when we had to leave...that's how awesome they were. We have A LOT of food sensitivities/ health issues in the family and Shirelle bent over backwards to make sure everyone stayed healthy and incredibly well fed. Remarkable feat!

So between Jessica at The Charter Yacht Company and our crew on Amazing Blues, you just couldn't go wrong!!!!

A SORANA New Year

  • 5 of 5

My family just spent a week aboard M/Y SORANA in the BVI's for New Years 2014. It will be a life long remembered trip. Jessica from The Charter Yacht Company made sure that every fine detail was included in our experience. Most of all I can't say enough good stuff about M/Y SORANA and the wonderful crew of John Marc and Marie. Combining the location, the boat, the service provided by the crew and most of all the fine food prepared by Marie this was by far the best vacation my family has ever experienced. It is thumbs up from us.....a true 5 STAR Experience from start to finish. We just hate it had to end....but we will return!!

Snorkeling - The warm protected waters of the Caribbean Sea offer its visitors some of the world's best snorkeling, with dazzling coral reefs that are full of life. From the first splash off your Charter Yacht, you will be fascinated with its incredible underwater world, as it orchestrates its life from your birds-eye-view.

Scuba Diving - Whether you're an expert diver or want to learn, the Caribbean offers idyllic conditions, with its warm waters, crystal clear visibility, glorious coral reefs and an abundance of aquatic life. Your Charter Yacht is the ultimate dive platform, with a sea full of life just below, waiting for you to discover it. Between dives you can hop in a warm shower and rinse off the salt water, dine on decadent cuisine, and go on an exhilarating sail to the next excellent dive location. Or slip into the ocean at twilight for an enchanting night dive, and spend the evening with your fellow divers, reminiscing of your adventures that day.

Fishing - Catch Dorado, King Fish, and Wahoo from the deep sea, or snag an elusive Bone Fish from the inlet shallows. And of course a fishing adventure would not be complete without the remarkable tales of the ones that got away.

Other Watersports - The Caribbean offers some of the best kite boarding and windsurfing conditions around; let the steady trade winds propel you as enjoy these fantastic sports. Watch your kids having the time of their lives as zip back and forth on water-skis, wakeboards, kneeboards, and tubes. Or hop on yourself and feel the exhilarating rush of skimming on ocean surface. Explore the shallow waters of serene inlets by kayak or paddle board, with not another soul in sight, neither accessible by yacht or foot, your kayak or paddleboard will allow you to discover this amazing ecosystem and get a glimpse of the life within. And when the swell is up, you can surf some outstanding 'off the beaten track' waves.

Hiking/Exploring - Hike the “look-out” paths of historical sailors, explore the local floral and fauna on nature walks. This is a great way to immerse yourself in the natural beauty, see a great view from above…or maybe just burn off the Crème Brulee you had last night! From hieroglyphics, to ancient cities, and sugar mills; explore the ruins and archeological findings of olden times as you discover the history and its effects on today’s civilization. Explore caves by land, dinghy, kayak, snorkel or scuba; these caverns tell an amazing story of how land forms were developed and the effects the ocean has had on their intricacy. Discover sea and land creatures unique to cave environments as you explore these amazing sights. Stroll the ocean shore, feeling the warm sand on your feet and letting the turquoise waters gently wash over your toes. Watch the rhythmic motion each wave brings, and listen to its peaceful melody. Search for the perfect shell for your memento of this wonderful experience.

Beach Bars and Night Life - From Dance Clubs and elegant dinning, to dockside restaurants and make-shift “beach bars”; enjoy the vibrant night life ashore. Whether it’s island fare and dancing to a steal band with your toes in the sand, or hitting the town for some fine dining and trendy party spots. Meet “the locals”, cruisers, and others enjoying their Charter Yacht vacation! Take delight in exciting festivals and cultural celebrations, as a parade of costumes, culinary delights and rituals are enjoyed by all.

Museums/Shopping - From local craft and artisan shops to fashionable boutiques and jewelry stores; find that perfect memento from your vacation and enjoy the excellent shopping in the busy ports! Visit museums, galleries and concerts for a unique insight to the contemporary and historical culture.
