I stayed in this house on vacation and liked it so much, purchased it from the owner. The twelve foot ceilings make it seem light and airy. The neighbors are nice and there is so much history in the area along with beautiful beaches and drives.
I have been a high school teacher, technical writer, and web developer. My hobbies include travel, painting, and most of all, enjoying my American Eskimo dogs. In Setember 2016 I bought my fourth puppy--over 40 years with this breed!
Close to beach, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and historical downtown. Very friendly neighborhood. Easy to drive north or south along A1A for beautiful oce4an views and view of mansions. Access to beach and wildlife preserves on North A1A. Restaurants along ocean and intercoastal waterway. I like Caps on the River. Easy access from Jacksonville Airport. Man across street has limousine service that will pick you up and deliver you to the house or a car rental place!!
Excellent location to the beach. The home was very spacious and clean. It was very accommodating with kitchen utensils, beach equipment, and bedding. I would rent this home again.
We had a great week at this property. The home is lovely with a pool, jacuzzi, lanai. The location is a short walk to the beach and in the middle of lots of restaurants and shopping. The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances including a food processor. The master bedroom suite is large, the family room is open and airy. This was our second year at this property. The home is clean and well kept. Vicki is delightful and cannot be more helpful. We hope to return next year.

This home was the perfect size for our vacation party of 6. Very open kitchen and den area with excellent lighting. The lanai was great for hanging out in the evenings to read a book or play games. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfy. It was difficult to get up in the mornings.
The walk to the beach was a nice flat walk that was about a 5 minute walk or so. The walk to the beach was probably shorter than most walks from the surrounding condos. It is a straight shot, with no stairs or decking to climb over the dunes to get to the beach. Cars do drive on the beach in this area, which is not a big deal to us, but just wanted to make sure that is understood for someone that may not expect it.
The garage made it easy to staged your items for the beach and there was an outside shower clean yourself and your things off once returning from the beach.
We kind of wish we brought our dog with us, but didn't want to have to make a 10 hour trip in the car.. But, I wanted to note, how clean this home was for a "pet-friendly" home. This house was cleaner than my house before I had a dog. (Maybe that means I'm an awful pet :) ).
Vicki stayed in touch. You can tell she has very high attention to detail and cares about your stay.
This was my first experience on renting a house and i would definitely do it again. The house was very well equipped with everything I needed during our stay. Even had a small bathtub for my granddaughter to use. Close to the beach and had a swimming pool. Overall a pleasant experience.

We had a couple of mechanical issues that were beyond anyone's control.The owner Vicki was on top of them right away.She stayed in constant contact with us .We are already looking for dates for next summer to book again.
We enjoyed our visit to this very nice property. We found everything to be as it was described. The location was great. The ocean was at the end of the street. We were only minutes from downtown St. Augustine. Plenty of restaurants and food markets. The neighbors were very nice. The home itself was well kept. We had everything we needed. Loved the lanai, hot tub, and pool. The owner was always available to answer any questions. Some of my family took a day to drive to Universal and my husband also went to Daytona. So as I said a great location for all.
