About the property

VERDE VALLEY was one of Lonely Planet's Top 10 Destinations for 2012! Our comfortable vacation home, 20 minutes south of Village of Oak Creek and Sedona proper has a large master bedroom with private ensuite, walk in closet and fireplace. Kitchen, dining and living area are open with large windows and patio door to the over-sized, landscaped, fenced, pet friendly yard. The second bedroom, bath and den are located at the front of the house and quite private from the master. This house is perfect for ONE OR TWO COUPLES. The yard has a sitting area right off the dining room, a flagstone patio with fire pit and a private side courtyard with a six foot adobe style wall for complete privacy. The neighbourhood is friendly, quiet, terrific for morning walks and a refuge after a busy day of sightseeing. The stars are amazing as are the sunrises and sunsets. The beautiful red rocks of near by Oak Creek and Sedona makes this a photographers dream. The central location couldn't be better for seeing this wonderful area of Northern Arizona! It is our second home and we would welcome you as our guests. PLEASE note there is a minimum stay of TEN nights and we prefer mature renters. This house and yard are not suitable for children. Dogs should not be allowed in beds or on furniture. If your dog sleeps with you....this is NOT the house for you. Daily charge for extra house guests upon approval, other than original renters. Please CONTACT for booking and payment information....Thank you for your interest..

Quiet and cozy

  • 4 of 5

Absolutely loved the house and location. So quiet at night and the stars were amazing. It was perfect for us as we loved seeing the Sedona area but didn't want the chaos. Was so great having a yard for the dog she loved the lizards. The house was so clean and inviting. The only thing I would have liked to see was a Queen bed in the second room, not the greatest choice for a second couple having a double size bed, just not comfortable. Owners were amazing to work with and I would stay here again, but wouldn't have guest up unless the bed situation was addressed. Thanks so much for an amazing home.

Very comfortable accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We needed a place near Cottonwood that could handle two adults and two dogs at a reasonable price. The Baldwin's place fit the bill. There is enough of everything to make staying here temporarily very convenient, and the additional benefit of a fenced yard, and quick access to the wash and the defunct golf course acreage to walk the dogs was absolutely wonderful. Marie, the property manager next door, was very helpful and accessible. There was plenty of space to have family over and watch football. Most likely will stay here again. Thanks Baldwins and Marie!

Welcoming, Comfortable and Quiet

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent a wonderful week of hiking, shopping and relaxing in the beautiful Verde Valley. It was so nice to have an inviting, comfortable place to call home while we were there. I will highlight just a few of the things we appreciated. A fully fenced back yard where our dog, Toby, was able to run leash. The sights and sounds of coyotes, deer, various birds, and yes, even a skunk (near Montezuma's Well). A fireplace inside the home and a fire pit outside, and, a gas stove (a plus for those who love to cook over fire). Although this home is not located in the red rocks of Sedona, we have to say, that we found it more relaxing than actually staying in Sedona (which we have done numerous times). Really, this location is a relatively short drive to many of the wonderful places that Arizona has to offer. We hope to return again soon.

Awesome time. Beautiful, peaceful, very relaxing time. The house is decorated perfectly with lots of extra touches and kept very clean. We attended a wedding in Sedona, but wish we had more time to stay and explore the area. Owners are very nice people.

We keep coming back

  • 5 of 5

Had another great time at Dragonfly House. The owners have added even more things to make the stay comfortable and the house is always immaculate.

FYI - AVOID Sedona and Jerome on the weekends - the traffic is terrible.

Had a terrific time doing the wineries on Page Springs Road and had dinner at Up the Creek - really good food and atmosphere.

Open mic night at Thanks A Latte in Camp Verde on Monday is really good local talent.

Coming back in the Fall.

Central to Everything

  • 5 of 5

No matter what direction you go in this house is close to everything. Old Cottonwood, Sedona, Camp Verde, Montezuma Well and Castle, wine tasting, antiquing. Walking distance to Ranch House bar and restaurant with live music on the weekends. Very quiet area and good for walking the dogs - huge back yard with lots of privacy. Seems like you are coming home at the end of a hectic day of sightseeing. Friendly and helpful owner and Property Manager with lots of travel tips.
