A recently built home (2011) located on a quiet side road midway between Cape Porposie Village and the Pier. The road dead-ends at the water, for boating and low-tide walks to the islands. Easy walk around the harbor to the village (0.2 miles), or to the Pier (0.4 miles) for views of Goat Island lighthouse, lobster shack, and the Ramp. The home features 4 bedrooms including 2 master suites (one upstairs, one downstairs), open living/dining/kitchen area, and separate sunroom. Vaulted ceilings and eaves in many of the rooms, plenty of outdoor space. Minimal views of the harbor. On the occasional hot day in southern Maine, the home also has central A/C.
The home is offered 'turn-key', including linens, towels, use of kayaks (2). Rents from Saturday-Saturday.
Idealic location midway between Cape Porpoise Village (0.2 mi with local restaurants, grocery store, village library), and the Pier (0.4 mi with views of lighthouse, lobster shack, and locally famous 'ramp' bar). Direct water access at the end of the road for kayaking, clamming. 3 miles to Goose Rocks Beach, and 3 mi to Dock Square/Lower Village.
