Spacious bungalow set in beautiful gardens on a small secure, gated community offering all modern conveniences including streamed TV with all BBC and ITV channels. Unlimited Wifi . Bluetooth stereo. The swimming pool is 25 metres from your private garden gate. Dine or sunbathe on your own garden terrace whilst enjoying the tranquility of the area. A 50 metre stroll takes you to the harbour where colourful fishing boats land their daily catch and the ferry can whisk you across to Fuerteventura in just 12 minutes. With a supermarket, banks and restaurants also just 50 metres from your door, you can nip out and be enjoying a delicious bottle of wine on your terrace within 5 minutes and probably all for less than a fiver. Being in such an excellent location also means you are within five minutes walk of both Playa Blanca beach and Flamingo beach - the choice is yours.

The house is well equipped with all the essentials plus Tassimo coffee machine.

Hairdryer provided.

The terrace has lounge furniture, table and chairs plus sunbeds.

Suitability: The bungalow is situated on a quiet residential community well suited for families and couples alike. It is NOT suitable for individuals who like to make a lot of noise or hold late night parties!

About Therese Oliver

I love Playa Blanca! I first visited the island of Lanzarote in 1978 and have been back every year since. When I first stayed in Playa Blanca it was a tiny fishing village with one shop and three restaurants. Street lighting and pathways did not exist. Over the years I have seen PB grow with both the pros and cons but still love the area and visit at least 3 times a year.

Why Therese Oliver chose Yaiza

This was actually our second property purchase in Playa Blanca as so often friends wanted to come and stay and there was never enough room hence we bought Tres Hermanas (three sisters). We were looking for something centrally located and within walking distance to everything and this just fitted the bill! Yes it is a traditional old style Canarian house but that is why we like it. If you are looking for the ultra modern new build then sorry but you will have to go out of town and get a car!

What makes this bungalow unique

Location, location, location. Everything is within easy walking distance yet with complete peace and quiet.

I hope you are well, I’ll post the key back tomorrow – I’m so sorry for the delay, its just been a bit mad since we got home!

Also, I just wanted to thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely bungalow, it was lovely Therese, absolutely lovely!

You have a gem of a place and I just wish we’d stayed longer! We’ve stayed in Playa Blanca before, as you know, so it is familiar to us which was what I wanted for a ‘sneaky week’ to celebrate Sean’s birthday and your lovely bungalow just added to the relaxation...

We did struggle with getting the air conditioning to heat but Janet sorted this very quickly by dropping a heater off for us, bless her! And the fluffy throws were ideal for the evenings.

So – all in all, a lovely, relaxing and enjoyable holiday – thank you. I do hope you are still renting throughout the year and Christmas and we would love to return so no doubt I will be in touch!

The bungalow is comfortably furnished with quality linens. All towels including pool towels are provided. A cot and high chair are available free of charge but you are required to bring your own cot bedding. Both bedrooms are of a very good size - No box rooms/bunks. Fitted wardrobes to both. Iron and board. The surrounding gardens are mature and well cared for making the community both attractive and tranquil.

Great property, all as advertised. Top location, quiet & secure in a small residential area, but yet only a very short walk (on flat surfaces) to the harbour & village centre. Ideal for the less mobile or those with small children & buggies etc.

Great owners, we had originally booked for 2008 but owing to airline failure we couldn't travel, but they very kindly held over our booking to the following year. How many property owners would do that?

They can also help with airport transport arrangements.

Playa Blanca is clean, with a good choice of beaches, restaurants, bars & shops. Ideal for a quiet holiday for couples & young families. A car is not necessary, there's a good local bus service plus a service to Arrecife as well.

Also, theres's a nice walk along the front to the Marina where there are more restaurants etc, or for the more energetic a longer walk to the lighthouse.

The all important weather was excellent as well!

We will return.

Great little Villa, everything you could need is supplied.

Perfect for me and my partner, quite area, but so close to everything that Playa Blanca has to offer. The Villa is really nice, makes you feel like your at home, has everything you could need on holiday, and more. Great pool only a few yards from your front door. Would recommend this Villa very highly. Many thanks to the owner Therese.

A lovely home from home villa, with all you need so we’ll equipped. A beautiful secure gated community. Shops restaurants, the beach all practically on the doorstep, but so peaceful no noise.

Well provided for spacious property on a lovely quite resort. The bungalow really is home from home.

Relaxing holiday on a safe gated complex. The bungalow is within walking distance to everything, spar and bar over the road 8 minutes walk to resort centre and a relaxing 40 minute walk all on the level to the beautiful rubicon marina with more bars and restaurants. Would definitely return to this spacious bungalow.

Playa Blanca is situated at the southern end of Lanzarote and enjoys its own micro climate being less windy and 2-3 degrees warmer than the north.

Tres Hermanas has an excellent location just across from the port where many boat excursions are available including ferry and day trips to the island of Fuerteventura.

A large well stocked supermarket is within 3 minutes walk of the house as are bars and restaurants.

The beautiful safe beach of Playa Flamingo is approximately 5 minutes walk with its promenade lined with restaurants. A few minutes further away you will find the recently built waterpark ideal for youngsters.

Other Activities: Pedalos, Banana boat, mini-submarine, pirate ship, trampolining, jet skis
