Great Cottage in a Wonderful Town!

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time in Lexington and the surrounding area! Additionally what made this trip better was our accommodations and the owner of the property being so kind and helpful. The view from the deck is amazing early morning, noon or night. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night watching the freighters go by until dark. Then the lights across the lake in Canada would appear and seem almost reachable.

The town of Lexington had many things to offer although we are ahead of peak season it was nice that we were able to walk around town and visit the great shops. The Marina and Restaurant are great for those who would like Waterfront Dining and a Great Cocktail!

If you love the Michigan Cottage feeling with plenty to do nearby or just want to hang out and dream while looking without obstruction over Lake Huron, make sure you don't pass up on this property you will love it!

Sister's Weekend

  • 5 of 5

I have always written in the guest book, but never online review. About time I did that :). Wonderful spot to rest and relax and re-connect. My sisters and I have been coming here for the last two years. This little gem has everything you could want or need. Right on the beautiful water for great views of the sunsets. Rebecca and Mark are wonderful and take very good care of the property and of their guests. So much fun and so close to everything! Outdoor concerts are wonderful and accessible.

Love this place. This is our new "go to" cottage for our sister's weekend in the years to come. Coming back this year. Thanks, Rebecca and Mark

Nice place. Enjoyed our stay. Sink in bathroom is plugged badly. Couches are so low that they are difficult for elderly & handicapped people to get out of. No paper towels or napkins. We would rent again. Thanks

Owner's Response: Dear Roy I'm sorry you experienced a clogged bathroom sink if only you had alerted me I could have sent service over to clear it for you, after all I had left a greeting with my mobile for such things. There are napkins in the closet in the center of the kitchen and lastly you are the only renter to complain about our comfy sofas. We hosted twenty four families this summer and your review is the only complaint we have ever received. Perhaps the cottage on the highway that you previously rented is a better fit in the future. Again sorry you found faults. Sincerely Rebecca

I can't believe I found this great cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is an awesome place- we loved it as soon as we arrived. It was well maintained on inside and outside! Everything we needed was there. House was spacious, neat and clean and nicely decorated. The location and view was unbelievable and we had our own beach. It was just awesome. There were chairs for beach and porch to just sit, relax and take in paradise! The owners were great-they made sure everything was taken care of. Can't wait to go back next year. It was close to the downtown area which we visited couple times. The Sweetwater restaurant was awesome!! I can't say enough of this whole experience! Just fabulous!! Thank you Rebecca- really an awesome place!

I can't believe I found this great place!!

  • 5 of 5

This place was just awesome. The location and view was perfect. The house was great- clean and well furnished and cutely decorated. The owners were very good to work with and everything worked out as they stated. I had never used this site so of course I was a little apprehensive about using it but it worked out beautifully. We had our own beach to ourselves and it was amazing. Close to downtown which we of course went. Now that I've found this gem-we plan on going to every year. It was paradise!!

Most relaxing weekend ever!!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful weekend with our friends at this cottage. Lexington has that nice, slow paced, up north feel. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Beach all day, into town for dinner and socializing and then a bonfire each night. Doesn't get any better than that! Rebecca was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place!
