I've completely updated the property, inside and out, which I manage myself with the assistance of a local handy-man. I’ve tried to create something that I and my family would be happy renting. It has been my pleasure to explore this part of the cape for the past several years, and I am still discovering many new treasures! Excellent golf, fishing, ferries to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket – all just a few minutes away! Young children love it here, with mini golf, arcades and beaches very close. The street is very charming and the neighbors are terrific. It is a very short walk to route 28, the main thoroughfare in this section of Cape Cod. Much of what you need, including supermarket, drugstore, restaurants, etc., are within walking distance of the home.

Why The Owner chose South Yarmouth

We were looking for a location that had it all - beaches, restaurants, fishing, golf, etc. and we found it!

What makes this house unique

I love just walking to long pond to take a swim either in the morning, or late at night in the summer. It is pristine and a joy to have in the neighborhood. It really feels like you are in a forest here with the conservation land on two sides - very relaxing.

Perfect Cape House!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently had the pleasure to stay at this lovely rental home. The house is beautifully maintained and had a cozy feel. This is perfect for a family! Wonderful yard and outdoor shower were a huge plus! Easy walk to the pond and close proximity to all the attractions. The rental owner is a pleasure to deal work with. We look forward to future stays at this wonderful home.

Review for Victory Lane

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting homes on the Cape for 4 yrs now, and this one by far is the best. It's reasonably priced and has so much to offer. I loved everything about this house. The only thing that's missing is the outdoor shower, but I hear it's in the works. Loved the kitchen and there was adequate room for all of us to sit and visit. Great bedrooms, and the beds were really comfortable. You know you always miss your own bed on vacation and this just wasn't the case. Huge flat screen tv in the living room and wifi too. We also loved the fact that Long Pond was within walking distance from the house. My son loved being able to go fishing whenever he wanted. The house is centrally located to everything you can imagine. Great house and I can't wait til our vacation next yr!

Nicely updated home in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

We chose this house after seeing the pictures and because of it's location. We are a family of 5, so this was the perfect size for us. The house has been completely updated, very clean, and all of the furniture is comfortable. You do need to bring your own towels and blankets. However, many other items were provided. It is located at the end of the street and is a short walk to a pond. The yard was a perfect place for our 3 young kids to run around after their ice cream. It is very close to the beaches in Yarmouth, and right in the middle of Dennis and Hyannis. Cuffy's and Pirate's Cove are also right down the road. You couldn't ask for a better location if this is the part of the Cape you enjoy. The owner is very nice to deal with and we would definitely rent here again.

Owner's Response: My wife and I wanted to create something that would appeal to families with young children, or anyone who wanted to have maximum privacy and still be in very close proximity to both the natural beauty of the south cape and the amenities offered on route 28. The location alone was a big reason we purchased this property, and I especially like the fact that a car is not necessary to swim, head out for a bite, or do some shopping. We are very pleased that our guests appreciate what we've done and would love to have you back.

Awesome stay! Would love to go back.

We traveled from Texas to this South Yarmouth vacation home and we were not disappointed. Owner was very easy to work while we were completing our vacation plans. The home was as described, location worked out very well for us(very convenient to stores, main roads, etc). The one thing we missed was having a washer/dryer to use. We have already recommended this vacation home to friends, and if we are able to travel to the northeast again next year, 19 Victory Lane in So Yarmouth will be our first choice for a vacation home.

Excellent Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed staying at this home in South Yarmouth. It is conveniently located to all amenities yet tucked away from the traffic. Easy access to many great beaches and the pond at the end of the road is a great place for an evening dip. The home was well equipped whether it be in the kitchen or items for the beach. It is perfectly suited for families. It is a very safe neighborhood with great neighbors. It was nice to have the central air for it was very hot this summer and took the edge off of a great day a the beach. I would recommend your place to friends and family.

Nice, clean, upgraded house, quiet neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

I had reviewed dozens of properties on Cape Cod before we selected this one - we picked it because it was centrally located, i.e. about half way up the peninsula, and we were planning to sightsee and go to the beach so this was perfect. And it was also reasonably priced.

The photos on these sites always look better than reality, but that wasn't true in this case. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the property, both inside and out. There is a lot of light coming in, all the rooms are a good size - we were 3 adults, 3 children. Two adults slept in one of the bedroom, the other one in the other bedroom, both bedrooms with a queen size bed, and the two teens and a 10 year old slept in the bunk beds and trundle bed in the third bedroom, and we all slept very well. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works very well. There are lots of pillows. The teens were happy to get the two tvs, both with cable, one in the master bedroom, and to find out that the wireless internet speed was very good.

The kitchen is fully equipped, remember to bring your own dish cloth/ rags, and soap. The kitchen table is very big, can easily sit 8. There are two long couches in the living room and a chair so lots of space to sit. We never felt crowded. Water pressure in the shower is very good, just note that hot water is on the right side! We had to call the owner once for a problem with the toilet, and someone was there within the hour to fix it, and it worked fine the rest of our stay.

We also took advantage of the BBQ that was available outside, it worked very well, an extra tank was right there when we ran out of propane. There is a nice table with 4 chairs outside where we enjoyed some of our meals. There is a big grocery store right around the corner which is very convenient.

There are many beaches close to the house, we chose to go to Nauset beach, about 30 minutes from the house, because of the big waves there. The house is also about an hour from Provincetown. Provincetown wasn't our thing, too many people/ too crowded, so we only went once. We went 3 times to Nauset Beach, which is a bit closer than Coast Guard/ Nauset Light Beach, and not quite as crowded. We biked around the neighborhood and along the Rail Road Trail, also went to Sandwich. There was also a big pond at walking distance from the house, the kids went swimming there once, the water was very warm and they enjoyed throwing a frisbee around for an hour.

We really enjoyed our stay!
