Very nice place to stay !

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time. The cabin set up with guest house is perfect for a family getaway !

My only issue is the internet connection is very spotty.

My family enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider booking again on future trips to Tahoe/Tahoma area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super comfortable home. We enjoyed over 40" of snow. All the major ski areas a short drive away. This was the perfect house to come home to. Two fireplaces, one gas warms up the room instantly. Hot tup, 3 comfortable bedrooms with full baths, well equipped kitchen, large deck with grill and 40 inches of snow! First Accommodations was at the other end of the phone each time we reached out. We'll be back.

perfect winter hideaway

  • 5 of 5

We were fortunate enough to arrive in Lake Tahoe during the massive 40" dump after months of no snow. The management at First Accommodations was responsive when we pulled up and couldn't find the driveway. They had a guy there in minutes to dig us out in a tractor with a snowblower attached. He returned every day. The snow continued to come down through the following day literally obscuring the deck over the railings. Luckily it was light and fairly easy to shovel the walkways... three times. The house was SO comfortable. Extensive stonework comfortable sofas and chairs, two fireplaces, one gas. The heat is electric. There are individual blowers through out the rooms. My only complaint was the living room blower was a little noisy, but it's effect was well appreciated. The beds were softer than I am used to but they grew on me.The hot tub was perfect. It was set away from the house making the bathing suit run extra exciting in the snow. The house is nestled beautifully in the trees but still affords a view of the lake, A walk around the neighbor hood offers amazing views. This was our first rental in Lake Tahoe. I was very pleased with this home. We skied Squaw, Alpine Meadows and Homewood. All were within a 20-30 min drive. The road was closed at Emerald Bay for three days due to avalanche concerns so access to Heavenly was impossible. I will likely rent here again. Our experience with VRBO and First Accommodations was first rate.

Very nice property with ample room for 8 guests. The fireplace in the living room added a cozy touch. Conveniently located with a nice view of the lake from the back deck. The rental company was prompt to respond. The only downside was that the wifi doesn't seem to work, but cell service in the area is fine!

A wonderful westhore find

  • 5 of 5

The rental company first accommodations was extremely prompt in their communication throughout the booking experience and stay. The house was perfect for our group, clean and a good distance from most other houses (one was relatively close but a very nice family lived there.) The hot tub stopped working while we were there and the company came on a weekend to fix it! There is a path down to the beach that is super convenient if you continue past the house up the hill and look for it on the right. The internet was extremely slow and a couple things were difficult to figure out (fans, lights, etc) or didn't work. Overall this property was absolutely perfect and we would definitely stay again!
