We travel quite frequently and have rented apartments in different countries, and out of all places we have seen this one is the cleanest and the best taken care of. It seems that the owners thought through every possible need of their guests, and tried to do their best to please them. The whole house is beautifully decorated, with nice hardwood floors, good size rooms, and comfortable beds. The internet was fast and reliable, and the TV screen is big and bright. There are several supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants quite close to the apartment, and the subway stations (2) are about 10 minutes away. Wendy is a very warm and kind person who goes above and beyond her responsibility as owner and offers help on sightseeing, activities and provides numerous brochures in the condo. EXCELLENT!!!!!
Wendy does an amazing job of making people feel welcome. Her recommendations were spot on and the apartment was immaculate! We had a wonderful time touring Montreal and the location was perfect. We had a car but did not use it the entire time. Wendy provided routes/schedules for the bus and the subway; that worked out perfectly. The only reason I didn't check age 55+ is because it is a second floor apartment with 19 rather steep steps to climb. That wasn't a problem for our group of which all were 55+, but it might be for others. Thanks, Wendy, we loved Montreal!
We had a wonderful stay at Wendy's apartment. It was exactly as advertised- comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the park down the street and there were a number of restaurants within walking distance. We walked 10 minutes to the metro to see the rest of Montreal on most days. It was a highly enjoyable stay!
It's hard to say what the best part of our stay was - the accommodation or the attentiveness of Wendy. From tracking our flight to staying late for our arrival, Wendy did it all. A great welcome, with lots of tips on where to visit and eat.
The house itself is much bigger than it looks on the photos, giving plenty of room for us to eat sleep and chill. Everything you could ask for was available in the well appointed kitchen. Bedrooms were huge and the balcony ideal for sitting in the warm summer evenings. The whole place was spotless and well decorated.
I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay stay close to Montreal, without the constant buzz of a big city. The neighbourhood is quiet at night but only 10mins away from a metro station which gets you to the old city in another 10. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too.
Can't wait to come back again!
From the first email the owner was exceptionally attentive. All of our needs were met beyond what we had expected! The quality of the hotel furnishings, the neatness and cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. We have just returned home after spending nearly a month at this condo. If you are looking for a home away from home this is the perfect place. Close to shops and the Metro - within a few minutes walk. The host was the warm and caring, providing everything you might need for your stay and more. The tiniest detail has been thought of. The home is spotless and a pleasure to stay in, I just can't speak highly enough of this place, after staying in other places which have not always lived up to the reviews or expectations. We hope to return one day. Thanks you and hope to see you again.
This place has no competition in my book. We`ve stayed in a lot of rentals and we were so delighted with our choice. We decided to chose Montréal as our base to visit other places like Toronto, Ottawa and Québec City. We had a month long stay here and everything we needed was provided. Everything is walking distance and centrally located. Parking is readily available and convenient, the weather was unusally mild. Do not hesitate to chose this rental, we might come back this summer for all the activities.
My husband had to travel to Montreal for a month long business stay and we decided to make it a family vacation as well. We were hoping to find a quiet place within easy reach of downtown and Old Montreal with all the advantages of an apartment, this place met all our requirements. We arrived and found the apartment was spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. The apartment is tastefully decorated. The owner was very helpful and friendly in all our correspondence and when we arrived we found the apartment was well stocked with brochures and guidebooks from the area as well as a list of some "must see" places and recommended restaurants with maps printed from Google - a thoughtful touch. It's handy and very much appreciated to have washer/dryer in the condo. The apartment is great value for it's price. It was a perfect home base for us as we spent time in Montreal. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay short or long term and doesn't want to shell out a pile of cash but wants a unique home away from home place to stay in. There are a lot of playgrounds along the waterfront to tire out the little ones. The 2 metros are a short walk away, along the way you will find a diverse selection of restaurants and cafés. Buses are close by to go to Old Montreal and downtown. We were happy with our choice no doubts about it!!!
