You'll love the house! We're so happy with the kitchen renovation - it was completed in December 2012. It's opened up the whole living space and transformed it into a great gathering spot. We were able to add a second full bath with a beautifully tiled shower. We reclaimed the hardwood floor in living room and painted to brighten the room. Given the major updates we've made, the amount of living space, and the proximity to the beach, this remains an unbeatable value.
We continue to make enhancemnets as a new outdoor shower was added in Summber of 2014 along with new carpets in the master bedroom and porch. New porch furniture was also added for more seating.
Totally enjoyed our stay. House is very well stocked and owner is on top of everything. I would go there again.
Well furnished little cottage, minutes walk to the beach. Very attentive owner, nice residential area.
Our family just returned home from a wonderful week in Niantic, and enjoyed very much being based out of this lovely cottage. The house was excellently outfitted and centrally located - walking distance to both a private and public beach, and very close to the downtown Niantic area. Pete and Jen were very responsive and attentive throughout the entire rental process, and we definitely feel like we got great value for our money. We spent part of every day at the beach, but were also able to explore the surrounding area's many attractions. The cottage had everything we might need during our weeklong vacation. We hope to return soon!
We had an amazing stay in this homey cottage. We really enjoyed the two bathrooms, updated kitchen, and air conditioning. It made our stay just like home. The highlight for us with three adults and three kids during our two week stay was the washer and dryer! It made it so easy to quickly wash all our suits and towels after a day at the beach. The only things that could have improved this beautiful home are central air and an outdoor shower. I will be recommending this home to all my friends and family!
We loved spending Christmas in this charming vacation rental. Peter was extremely hospitable and attentive. The beds were fantastic and the kitchen was fully equipped. Our party of five adults and one child felt perfectly at home. Niantic is an enchanting seaside town and even in the winter we could enjoy incredible sunsets and the natural beauty. Next time we spend Christmas in CT we will definitely try to rent this house again!
Our family of four had a relaxing week at beach. House sunny, light, spacious for a small group. Just as described. Very cute cottage by the shore. We spent all week -sunny days!- at beach while our kids (21, 17) slept late and enjoyed the wifi and LV space with a nice cross breeze through the house during the day.
