We are a family owned and operated property. We have three places in Asheville and are proud of our warm and friendly vacation homes.
Marilyn Del Vecchio purchased this house in 2010
We bought this property because our children live in Asheville (son Sam and family live next door). My son owns Alternative Allergy Solutions in Asheville specializing in acupuncture and allergies. My daughter is a playwright and actress and managing director of The Magnetic Theatre in Asheville
The numerous fruit trees, berry bushes and nut trees grown organically on the property by our son are wonderful.
Great place-fabulous! Loved being here! Location near Asheville. We were here for a wedding. Had a fun time Thank you.

This home was perfect for our weekend in Asheville with friends. It was convenient to catch an Uber for an evening out. The fenced-in front yard was great for my dog. The owner's instructions were clear & easy to follow for how to enter, leave, and check-out. Marilyn was wonderful to work with. The house was clean, well maintained, and very spacious. We sat outside one evening and enjoyed the country feeling. We'd love to come back when the bushes are in bloom and for a longer stay. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but it had the things we would have needed. I highly recommend this home and the owner. We will stay here again.
We were 2 families of three (2 couples each with a child) who stayed for a weekend. The house was a reasonable drive from downtown ASHEVILLE/Biltmore.(10-15 min). The beds are pretty comfortable, kitchen has basic supplies (coffee pot, pans, etc). The beds have blankets, but we did get a little cold one night and were not able to find any extra blankets. (That might be nice to have.) The only downside to this otherwise good value rental was that there were a couple of donkeys (and dogs) next door that made lots of noise late at night and early in the morning. We didn't sleep very well and the kids were up super early. I guess there isn't much you can do about neighbors with donkeys, but perhaps heavier sleepers will not notice it as much as we did.
The home was comfortable for all six of us and our two pups. We enjoyed the proximity to the Biltmore, Chimey Rock, Blowing Rock and Skyline Drive. We hope to return in the Fall to see the beautiful colors of the changing trees.
Nice clean home just minutes away from almost any Asheville attraction. It was great for us with the fenced in yard while traveling with a dog!
Me and my husband enjoyed our stay at Chestnut Hill. We live in Fort Lauderdale and have a child that lives in Asheville and one in Greensboro, NC. We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holidays with our family. The home was the perfect place to host the Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook and was big enough to accommodate the whole family. The beds were comfortable and we loved hanging out in the den on the cozy couches. We would stay here again! Diane and Hudson Welch
