We are a family owned and operated property. We have three places in Asheville and are proud of our warm and friendly vacation homes.
Marilyn Del Vecchio purchased this house in 2010
We bought this property because our children live in Asheville (son Sam and family live next door). My son owns Alternative Allergy Solutions in Asheville specializing in acupuncture and allergies. My daughter is a playwright and actress and managing director of The Magnetic Theatre in Asheville
The numerous fruit trees, berry bushes and nut trees grown organically on the property by our son are wonderful.
Great place-fabulous! Loved being here! Location near Asheville. We were here for a wedding. Had a fun time Thank you.
This was a wonderful home to stay while on vacation or for a long term housing need. It was extremely clean, nice furniture , and offers WiFi an cable TV. It has one full bath and a half bath and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for an rental house and the bath has plenty of bath towels . It was very to close to the Baltimore House and the downtown area for touring but was in a quite neighborhood for peace and quite. We loved the location and would go back in heartbeat. I would recommend this to anyone the price was great and the location and home were wonderful.
We loved our stay there and would recommend it to anyone! I was a little worried when I found out that there was a downstairs apartment, but it's really only under a portion of the house and want a problem at all.
As far as the location, it was close to everything from Biltmore to various parks and downtown, not to mention the vibrant west Asheville scene itself.
My son and I had a great time picking blackberries in the mornings, he thought that was just the coolest thing.
We had a lovely girls weekend. There were four of us and it was very comfortable. We each had our own bed which was a bonus. It was an $8 Uber ride which took less than 10 minutes to get downtown.
We were in the area to tour UNC-Asheville with our daughter. This house is just a short drive to town, but with the large yard you get that country living feel. The house was very clean and offered all the amenities that you may need. We also enjoyed picking blackberries and blueberries on the property, YUM!!! If our daughter decides to attend UNC-A we will stay there again.
We had a very pleasant experience staying at this house. It is very close to downtown and everything else, a cheap uber ride if one does not feel like driving. I went with two of my friends and my dog, and we all had ample place in the house. We all had our separate rooms and beds. There are two toilets and one big bathroom with a tub. A fenced in garden for my puppy to walk around. Everything was clean and orderly. Communication and the whole transaction went very smooth. One minor recommendation I'd have to improve this rental would be to add some other basics like shampoo and maybe coffee (they had towels and soap and some tea), but other than that excellent stay!
We were only in Asheville for a long weekend but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. House was spacious for the 3 of us. It was also close to most of the places we knew we wanted to see. Dogs loved it also. Would stay again.
